I recommend to control your sugar level 1) a healthy and well balanced diet having regular meals. Divide your meals into 5 to 6 times.
2) one teaspoon of methi seeds soaked overnight in 100 ml of water is very effective in controlling diabetes
3) good fats such as omega-3 and monounsaturated fats (mufa) should be consumed as they are good for the body like olive oil
4) diet should be high in fiber. Let whole grain cereals & flour, salad vegetables, green leafy vegetables & fruits.

lybrate-user, Insulin is essential in T1 diabetes as there is no other drug that works in that condition. If you have T2 diabetes then unless diabetes is very severe with blood glucose levels over 300 to 400 mg/100 ml, there may be no need to start with Insulin. There are enough good drugs available which give excellent glucose control. Thanks.

Please add onglyza-5 mg in the morning and increase insulin 30/70 to 30 units + insulin are to 18 units and metformin sr 1 gm twice and check your fbs, 2 hr ppbs and hba1c and send the reports to, me privately on this site. - have 5-6 small meals rather than three large meals, do not skip meals, have meals on time...more
