Please consult a counsellor. Medicines along with counselling will help you a lot. A counsellor can help you to reduce your anxiety. You need systematic training for this. The counsellor will help you to modify your perceptions about different situations, causing anxiety so that you can get rid of this.

Hello Lybrate User Alprax is good anxiolytics but when taken for long duration may lead to dependence. Considering long standing stress suicidal thoughts you need more definitive treatment to help you recover completely. I suggest you should consult Psychiatrist in your area of residence immediately.

Dear lybrate-user,
Insomnia may be an early warning sign of mania or a symptom of depression. If the cause is treated, then you can sleep well. You may not need a separate treatment for insomnia. You are already taking alprax 0.5 mg which also serves as a sedative. There can be other causes for insomnia. Those need to be looked into. Please follow up with your psychiatrist.
