See she is very young. Only 14. U need too be her strength and tackle this situation very tactfully. Support her, talk to her. Try to make her understand this is not end of life, it happens. Try to make her understand to come out of the room, even if for some time. Slowly increase the timings. Tell her that you understand her problem, but it will take some time to be ok. No medicine is safe for all the persons taking it. We have to weigh the benefit vs safety.
Having said that, the diazepam is not very safe in the long run. It is NOT an antidepressant tablet. It is prescribed to reduce your anxiety and make your muscles to relax. Whereas fluoxetine is better if it has beneficial effects on you. Please discuss with your doctor.
