I am 47 year male & suffering from bitter mouth, nausea, groin pain, small amount of blood in spit, sleep disorder from last 20-25 days. I have done blood test on last month and its shows vitamin d level: 10.11 mg/ml, vitamin b12: 87 pg/ml, Total Cholesterol 219 mg/dl, LDL 148.6 mg/dl, chest x-ray (PA view) was clear in all respect. Can I take Injection for Low B12 or other food supplement as I am a vegetarian. Kindly suggest your comments for better recovery.

M 35 & husband 38 of age. We got married before one n a half year. We were trying naturally to conceive but it didn't happen. Now we r going to treatment. All reports r normal for me n for him also. My gyno is telling that I don't have the capacity to produce egg in much quantity. So that m unable to conceive n Now we should have to go for egg donor. I just want to know that is there any treatment to increase the number of eggs. My AMH is 0.97 mg/ml. If any kind of pills or home remedies r there please help me. I have missed my period by 2 months last period was on 12th feb on 13th april I have done beta hcg blood test and result came 12.85 ng/ml m I pregnant. And why results is given in mg/ml it's should be miu/ml. I found that 1 ng=15miu so from thais calculation my result is 192.75 miul/ml please reply I miss very much confused. And also 3 month back I had laparotomy surgery for endo cyst. Doc told me conceiving chances is greatest in this 3 months. Please reply.

For last few days i'm having tightness feeling at frontal throat. Sometimes at lower portion feeling like band holding, sometimes at middle throat feeling the tightness. And mucus at back throat coming above to throat or between throat and nasal passage. No sneezing (rarely), coughing or fiver yet noticeably. I have hypothyroid. Tsh 5. I take thyronorm 50. I also used to take testoviron 250 mg/ml monthly but skipped for last 2 months. Can you please tell me why is this happening? The chocking tightness and something there in throat all the time? And mucus at back throat irritably all the time.

I've been suffering from depression for the past 3 years, and i've taken treatment from multiple different psychiatrists for the past 1.5 years. I've been put on many different kinds of medications including ssris, snris, augmentation medicines such as antipsychotic, lithium etc. And ive not noticed improvement at all. I've been scanned for vitamin / mineral deficiencies that might contribute to depressive symptoms and everything is perfectly alright except that I have hypothyroidism. My thyroid levels are back to normal after taking the appropriate dosage, but my depression hasn't been resolved. I also think therapy won't work for me since I have absolutely no internal or external stresses or any negative thought cycles at all. The only problem i'm experiencing is an extremely low mood which prevents me from doing anything at all. I've been suggested ect by a psychiatrist but I do not wish to proceed with that. Where in chennai can I avail ketamine infusion therapy for my condition?

i am dealing with mental illness from last 8 years and tried treatments from all top notch psychiatrist's of the city .ate kilo's of medicines which are some serious, snri's, tricyclic ,tetracyclines, maoi's, clonazepam, alprazolam, etizolam,lamotrigine, sodium valproate, lithium, quetiapine, aripiprazole, olanzapine etc. But these all medicines and psychiatrist's failed to bring my mental well being back. I am dealing with anhedonia, apathy ,disordered thinking, inability to do goal directed activities ,bed ridden ,i don't brush my teeth, I don't bath ,i am doing nothing in my life ,i have no career and super hopeless about my future ,dull facial expression, highly demotivated, suicidal (i have attempted twice ,one with carbon monoxide poisoning and second with 50 mg clonazepam+200 mg zolpidem+750 ml alcohol bottle+20 cigarettes, my purpose was to die from respiratory depression, but I failed ).now to whichever doctor I will go ,i will ask him will you give me ect ,ketamine therapy ,rtms or not.

congratulations for continuing your interest in making your life better. Ect is an option - not tried so far. But it is not a one time treatment. It has to be given under anesthesia, may be 6-12 times. Only few psychiatrists will have ect facility. Ketamine and rtms - very very few psychiatrist will have it. My husband is male. Age 33. Height 5 feet 6 inches. Weight 70 kgs. He has been continuously tired for a few months now. Low sex drive. Weight was never more than 65 kgs but us now 70 kgs. He started having pain in his feet upon waking up especially in the morning or while driving. Had an mri. It was normal. Today had some test results that were worrisome. Calcium is good at 9.2 mg/dl. Glusome random was 70 mg/dl. Serum sodium was 144 mmol/l. Serum potassium was 3.8 mmol/l. Serum cpk was 627 i.u/l. Serum uric acid 5.3 mg/dl. Serum tsh >150 ulu/ml. Vitamin d 10 mg/ml. It was 29.3 in jul 2018. Please guide. Worried sick for him.

My daughter starts suffering from running nose and cough and mild fever from 21/08/218. She is 7 months old and 7.8 Kg in weight. The consulting doctor prescribed the following medicines Levolin 1 mg [ Levosalbutamol Syrup 1 mg] - 1.5 ml per day Indominic-P Syrup [Phenylephrine Hydrochloride & Chlorpheniramine Maleate Syrup] - 1.5 ml per day Babygesic Paracetamol Drops [Acetaminophen Oral Suspension IP] - .8 ml in 6 hours interval But yesterday her temperature increases and we just move with her to another paediatric clinic. The temperature reported was 101.4. She was suddenly treated with “Suppositories”. After a while temperature normalize. Along with all the medicine, the doctor prescribed Azithromycin Oral Suspension IP 20 mg/ml [Azithral Liquid 100] 4 ml daily in 4 days from today onwards. Now I understand that Azithral Liquid 100 is an antibiotic used against bacterial infections. So I have a doubt. Is it safe to use Azithral Liquid 100 without without doing any blood or urine check up? She has still mild temperature. Please advice me.

Hi, I had upper body from past 3 months and went to a doctor. He conducted tests and my Vitamin D Came out as 23.6 ng/ml and my CRP level was 94 mgm/l and ERS was 7 mm/1st hour. I developed severe neck pain and shoulder swelling 20 days back. I went to a orthopedic and he suggested tests again. My CRP is 157 and ESR is 90 and WBC count is 10000. Else my all report came as normal i.e. LFT, KFT, TYPHOID. In the neck X-ray report it was written straightening of cervical spine. Doctor suggested MRI. Report is due on Monday. My concern is my vitamin D level is low and My CRP, ESR and WBC are high and I have stiffness all over my body including pain and stiffness in neck. What could be the reason of CRP, ESR and WBC so high. Is it a sign of some serious issue like HIV or CANCER or its just due to the pain and stiffness. I am a mild smoker (3-4) in a day. I do night shifts and have a hectic schedule. I take a lot of stress and I am sleep deprived. I rarely drink alcohol.

Hello sir 1. Whenever I take whey protein for muscle building I feel something abnormal in my body like. Light head heavy dizziness heat in my back blur vision completely fatigued this condition remains for 2-3 hr and than my body starts coming back in normal condition. Please explain (prescribe test for cause) 2. I have a little and regular pain in my lower left abdomen and lower left back and pain in left testicle. And when I touch specific point on my testicle I feel pain. In back abdomen as well. Like they are interconnected. After I urinate I feel some chilling effect on the paining parts. 3. If I eat 4,5 eggs or milk I keep farting whole day nd it makes me uncomfortable. 4. One year ago doctor prescribed me vitd for 6 month with one month gap but still I am vit d deficient. 5. From you tests you r having iron and vit d deficiency. Check your urine for infection. If normal have usg whole abdomen and kub.
U may be having intolerance to whey protein. And a diet heavy in protein needs more energy for digestion so your blood flow increases in gut and you feel lethargic. So it's a normal phenomenon.
