How is your swelling now? You already are on full dose of 3 different groups of medicines. If your bp is still not controlled with this then you need some workup for resistant hypertension and to see for end organ damage. Get kft, electrolytes, usg abdomen, ecg, echo and tsh done and follow up with reports.

Hi lybrate-user you are diagnosed as hypertension at very young age .and as you mentioned you are on amlokind -at which is a calcium channel blocker. And beta blocker.
Your heart rate in this range could be because of betablocker assuming that no other medical condition such as hypothyroid is not present.

Hello, thanks for the query.
There is no mention of the drugs he is taking for diabetes, or the glucose levels, hba1c%, bp readings, lipid profile, diet pattern and extent of daily exercise. Unless these details are known no comments can be made. As regards changing to amlokind from gamlo 2.5 mg, there is no problem at all. Both are smae componds. Thanks.
