Amiodarone 150 MG Injection Health Feed

Asked for male, 27 years old from Jalandhar

My mom age 51 years is suffering from diastolic dysfunction stage 2. Doctor gave her telmikind 40 mg in morning and amtas-AT 25 in evening for high bp. But after taking amtas she feels like vomiting and dizziness. Doctor then stopped amtas. But now after telmikind her bp is still 150/90. Now doctor suggest to take amlong 2.5 mg in evening along with telmikind in morning. I want to ask is it safe to take amlong 2.5 mg as she is suffering from diastolic dysfunction stage 2. Will it increase heartbeat? She is taking cordarone 300 mg. Should we start amlong 2.5 mg?

Yes amlong (amlodepine) is good drug in diastolic dysfunction. The side effects like vomiting and dizziness maybe due to added AT in amtas combination which your mom took Try amlong and if she is still having prob then ask your doctor to give some diuretics for some time and use other BP medication to bring down BP to 120/80 range Then she will feel better.

I am suffering from peyronie disease and bye to that I am also suffering from ED. I do get erections but are not hard and lasts for a very short time. I cannot satisfy my partner. Can you suggest some medicine or treatment for both the problems. I am 59 and am suffering from diabetes, mild hypertension, atrial fibrillation, gout, CKD. Am taking eurepa 2 mg, jalra 50 mg, glide 5 mg in the morning for diabetes. metocard XL 50 for hypertension. Cordarone 100 for atrial fibrillation. Then after lunch I take eurepa 2 mg and glide 5 mg. One zyloric and ecosprin 75. Lanoxin .25 mg thrice a week. After dinner only eurepa 2 mg and glide 5 mg. Please suggest me some information about my condition. Thank you.

Last few weeks resting hr 85 to 80. Hr after exercise 75. Constant at that. Bp 135/95. Feeling of choked throat no other symptoms. Pl advise. Rhythm normal. Also taking concor cor 1.25 mg.

For rhythm check we need your ecg. 80 resting hr and diastolic bp is slightly high. Bp charting twice a day for 15 days. If diastolic bp is on higher side then start some antihypertensive.

As she is having so many problems of different types they have to be controlled with multiple medicines and few of them more than one time in a day.
Dietary modifications and regular exercise like walking and yoga are helpful in diabetes, hypertension,high cholesterol.
Pan D should not be taken regularly for longer periods. It has serious side effects if taken continuously.
Use of Lonapam should be discouraged.
Fasting sugar needs attention.

Blockage in all three arteries with reduced heart function& hhistory of cardiac arrest is a serious thing. He will definitely need a by pass surgery (CABG). The risk of the surgery will be higher than a normal patient with blockage in all three arteries.

Hello I am 36 running man suffered heart attack on Jan 9 2017 n was thrombolised on 10 Jan as it was 40 % blockage from that time I am on medicine and regularly visiting cardiologist medicine getting changed time to time. Now from last one year I am taking juprios gold 10 Met xl 25 in morning.in Nov 5 2018/I was hospitalized again got sweat n dizziness they tested blood tropti Which was negative n I force fully took discharge. There they reduce met xl 25 to met xl 12.5 and added one more tablet name cordarone 200 mg 2 times daily now from many days I am feeling tingling in my both hands n legs many times and I always feel like I will fall down (dizy) my blood pressure is always between 110/80 to 130/80 n pulse rate is 96 My next appointment to my cardiologist is in next weak I am always worried what happening to me don't know.

Hello Dr. Jan 2017 had thrombotic disease 40 % was blocked which was break down in angiography everything was going from last 4 day was having work load due to festival in shop was busy so unable to eat in noon. 2 days before I just feel dizziness n got little sweat I ran to hospital bp got checked 140/80 Dr. told me to take ECG. When to another hospital took ECG. He said there is little changes you need to get admit then went to family Dr. showed him he said nothing to get tensed it happened due to exertion. Then send ECG to another Dr. he said to get admit. I went in hospital got admit on diwali there they just keep me on bed and monitor .blood test name tropti done came negative sugar was 122. I said I have to go home they said me your in high risk you can go. They said me you got ectopic heartbeat. I was taking juprios gold 10 & met xl. 25 they reduce 25 to 12.5 they added cordarone 200 mg and advice me to do TMT and echo. Now nothing happening to me what should I do guided me Please.

Take a discharge, if trop T is fine. Ectopic is not a disease, everyone gets ectopics. In future, Do not go to Drs for reassurance, the system is not designed for that. Drs and hospitals are paid for giving treatment, not for giving reassurance.

Age: 23,weight: 49,height: 165,medication: multivitamins and took cordarone once. I have been getting daily lightheadedness and strabfe feeling in head episodes since february although my blood pressure is good and since a week ago symptoms worsened and I am getting weaker everyday I am extremely weak that I feel no energy in my body and can not leave bed although I sleep and eat well, the weakness became so severe that I now pee in a potty in bed too weak to go to bathroom, I also cough a lot and sometimes cough mucus and I have heart palpitations and tachycardia most of the time and sometimes and a pain in the lower left of my heart. Did blood tests cbc, crp, esr, thyroid, heart enzymes, calcium,sodium, potassium and everything was normal except that ck was high at 319, but ckmb is normal, but I do not have any muscle injury and I do not drink alcohol and I do not do excessive physical activity. I also sometimes feel strange vibrating feeling in my muscle and my hand especially feel very weak and can drop things from it. I sometimes feel like theres poison flowing in my body. I sometimes feel dizzy too. I did heart echo and the cardiologist said it was normal. I also have small red spots on my arms and chest, and a herpes in my lips that has been there since february, I did have an abscess in a tooth too and opened it and removed part of it. I had fever two weeks ago but no fever now. I am scared whats wrong with me? I am scared of weakness continue to worsen till I die. Is my condition dangerous? What should I do? I can not even go to er because there I might catch covid. What is my diagnosis and what should I do for it?

Ecosprin av and clopidogrel are required after a heart attack. Avoid these medicines unless you have received a coronary stent.
Flecainide is quite toxic for people who require blockage medicines. Amiodarone is usually very effective. Amiodarone treatment requires medical supervision.
