Hello,
your questions are more philosphical, obviously the husband has not disclosed his problem before matrimony. The main thing is that sulpitac is used for mental disorders like schizophrenia. But a better approach will be to visit the doctor with the wife who can explain all the details about her husband including the diagnosis, need for medication etc. In any case these disorders can be manged sucessfully and all details should now be atleast privy to the wife.

Yes, it is a very complex disease and needs a lot of support. You cannot treat him but he needs this medication and needs to also have counseling from a therapist. At home you must be careful not to increase his suspicion in any manner. He must also be always occupied but not busy. If he is going to work let him continue but he must not be under undue pressure. If you want to really help, you can consult with his counselor when he starts therapy and get specific guidance as to how to be involved...more

You have been taking many anti-psychotics in reasonably high doses. Adjusting these drug doses needs very careful monitoring and regular thorough assessment. It should not be attempted without physical consultation.

Dear Hermen,
Yes. She can take Melslumb 6 mg along with other tablets. She can try with 3 mg initially. Melslumb has melatonin which is a sleep hormone from thymus gland. Harmless tablet. May be some water soluble vitamin is added to it. Again harmless. Solian and Valium are also sedating tablets. If she has sleep disturbance, she should get diagnosed for sleep disorders along with other treatment.
