Your prescription needs revision, consult a psychiatrist and get the best medicine which helps to control the symptoms and does not produce any unpleasant effects. But give your psychiatrist few reviews to get the right one as different people respond differently. Also your need to wait for 1-3 months for significant improvement. All the best.

Antidepressants though reduce seizure threshold are given in people with seizure disorder having anxiety, depression and ocd. If there is a recent seizure in the past 2 years, they are given under the cover of an anti epileptic, else not. Else it is a safe medicine and you can follow your psychiatrist advise. It will take approx 4 weeks to see the effects though, so be patient. Good luck.
