Dear lybrate-user, you have not mentioned any History of Past disease or Family History of Cardiac or Chest disease, therefore it may be just a passing phenomenon.
But in case you are concerned, then please visit a Pulmonologist and get your PFT Test done.
Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) will disclose any hidden disease of Lungs.
Meanwhile try getting Good Sleep, Proper Diet and Exercise for good health.

He seems to be having some issues in school. Ask him nicely without scolding him. Maybe some child is bullying him or he is scared of some teacher. Make enquiry in school also. It seems more of physiologically rather than physical. Give him kumariasav no 3 1tbsp thrice after food. Aswagandharishta 1 tb thrice. Wth equal amount of water.

This syp is pretty much the same as you have been given earlier. These are viral infection which usually settle in their own. However antibiotics are needed if secondary infection develops as evidenced by fever and toxicity. Continue with mild remedies. If the cough does settle within a few days, see a doc.
