The choice of anti anxiety drug to be used depend son severity of the anxiety, it's type, duration and relation with any stressors or biological problems like heart diseases, headaches, hormone imbalances etc. I would advise you not to make any wild guesses about treatment options and consider visiting a psychiatrist personally.
Amixide h is used for anxiety but may not always be useful.

Insomnia is a psychological issue; treating insomnia using allopathic medications is inadequate. Since it has been going on for over 20 years now, it is chronic and resistant; you must go to a psycho...more

I am not sure who got him hooked onto Aplrazolam. On a longer run they will shrink your brain, resulting in early onset dementia, personality changes, memory changes, even withdrawal seizures. Kindly consult a psychiatrist, get your symptoms evaluated, and he will gradually wane you off the pills and give pills which promote better psychological well being by acting on the cause.

No there is no instant cure with an express medicine, medicines act when they reach optimum blood levels which take some time on continuous intake, sleep, pain relief etc may have instant cures.

Anxiety is better handled when medication is combined with psychotherapy. Take some CBT sessions with a good psychotherapist.

Hello sir, Plz Increase your physical activity whatever your health allows like brisk walking or yoga or sports. Meditate. Take proper diet.
Considering your age I would suggest you to do some kind of volunteering. Be it in any orphanage or in library or wherever you may work easily. These all activities will boost your feel good hormones and you won't be dependent on alprazolam.
