Thanks for the query. It is difficult to give any opinion without looking at actual levels of FBG, PP & HbA1c%, TSH, BP readings. Plus there's no mention whether you have diabetes. So it will be good if all details are given. Thanks.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
Since you are already taking Zyloric twice a day, that should help in controlling the symptoms of gout. This drug has to be taken for long before it helps reduce uric acid level. Dosage can be increased slowly to get better result. Better to contact your doctor who has prescribed the medicine. To control there may be a need for additional treatment. Thanks.

Sorry to know that you have joint pain when you stop zyloric tab even fora few days Hope your uric acid levels are under control Gout is a painful form of arthritis that occurs when high levels of uric acid in the blood cause crystals to form and accumulate in and around a joint.
Uric acid is produced when the body breaks down a chemical called purine. Purine occurs naturally in your body, but it's also found in certain foods. Uric acid is eliminated from the body in urine.

Your finger pain can be due to various reasons our suggestion would be to do warm water bath to relieve from pain. If the pain doesn't subside please do ice therapy to reduce the inflammation from the finger.
