Tell your family psychiatrist s treat not only psychosis, when people may lose in touch with reality, but also common disorders like anxiety, depression, stress, insomnia, adjustment problems, etc come under psychiatric disorders. If you do not have symptoms then no need of any medication. Asymptomatic hyperuricaemia below 9 mg/dl does not require any treatment. If Uris acid is more than 9 mg/dl then uric acid lowering drug is recommended.

If you have leg pain then you have to rule out the causes for having leg pain. First of all check your weight and your haemoglobin levels, as anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having leg pain though there are no issues with the knee joint or back pain. If not if the pain radiates down the back of thigh and legs then it might be due to sciatica. Kindly consult the nearby physiotherapist. Hope you recover soon from the leg pain.

Dear lybrate-user ji,
a high uric acid level, or hyperuricemia, is an excess of uric acid in your blood. It is produced during the breakdown of purines, which are found in certain foods and are also formed by your body.
It mostly caused due to:
-slow-down in the removal of uric acid due to some kidney disorders,
-consumption of uric acid rich foods, -being overweight,
-having diabetes, -taking certain diuretics,
-drinking too much alcohol etc.
