Dear Ms. lybrate-user, oral anti-asthma drugs have limited effect.
Kindly contact a pulmonologist and get a pft test done.
Inhalers prescribed on basis of pft have better capacity to control & prevent asthma attacks, and have very few side effects in long run.

Why so many medicines? If dry cough she can do steam inhalation& take Honnitus syrup. If productive cough with lots of mucus she will need antibiotics, meet a physician.

Rhinorrhoea is normally due to some respiratory allergy. There will be some trigger factor and particular timing or surrounding pollution. Identify and avoid. There could be structural nasal defect like deviated nasal septum for which you should consult ent specialist. Yoga, breating exercises and saline water instillation in nose daily may also help.
