Yes, its because of gas. As in 2 hours our food leaves stomach n enter intestine. If you do not eat at that time you experience problems. As you r facing. Follow this 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). First of all you need to understand as your wife is lactating there are very few drugs which can be given to her and as she is having pain after fever it seems like she may be having post viral arthralgia which will come down with time and as far as her pain is concerned safest drug she can take is paracetamol 500 mg tid and she needs to get some physiotherapy which will relieve her pain .do not worry her pain will subside within a week.
