Hello seems like prostatic symptoms. Yes thr are better medications. But first get a urine examination, a fasting blood sugar and USG pelvis for prostate done.
After that better options can be discussed.
Till then you should continue with your medications.
Regards.

Hello lybrate-user if you are not sexually active, infection should not be the problem, if you are active then make it a habit to wash your privates thoroughly before and after sex with plain water only, prostatitis is usually diagnosed with per rectal examination, it usually removes with time easily. Drink plenty of fluids orally and maintain hygiene.

Treatment depends upon the size of kidney stones and presence of backpressure changes in your kidneys. I guess by saying urinary retention probably you mean less urine output. Get a urine routine, culture and renal function tests. Sometimes flotral can cause lethargy. Get yourself adequate hydration.

Sir, if you had urinary problems to start with and after taking flotral- d the problem has resolved then you can continue medication for some years. If you did not have any urinary disturbances to start with or the disturbances are not better with the medications then we can consider stopping the medication. Please visit a urologist to get a detailed information.

You definitely need to visit urologist to rule out whether it is bladder outlet obstruction with or without overactive bladder. You will need to get ultrasound kub with postvoid and urine routine analysis done. Detailed history and examination will be helpful.

This type of prostate enlargement isn't thought to be a precursor to prostate cancer.
With this condition, the urinary stream may be weak or stop and start. In some cases, it can lead to infection, bladder stones and reduced kidney function.
Treatments include medication that relaxes or shrinks the prostate, surgery and minimally invasive surgery.
