I think these cough medicines will not help her much. High bp may be putting load on heart or she is still having postive water balance in body. You should consult one cardiologist for echo and optimisation of your medicines and also get one xray done to see for any fluid. If there then you need to intensify dialysis more to thrice per week atleast till she achieves normal water balance in body.

I advise you the followings for your condition:
drink plenty of warm fluids. Drinking warm fluids helps to loosen the secretions in your sinuses so that your mucus flows more freely, making you feel better faster. Studies show that drinking warm fluids relieves cold symptoms such as runny nose, cough, sneezing, sore throat, and fatigue.

Dear lybrate-user, relax and calm down. Please tell your mom to not self medicate as she has no idea about the medicines she is taking. Therefore she must consult a good ent specialist so that a proper sino-nasal evaluation takes place and a diagnosis is acheived and thorough treatment is done.
