Hello, I have a 2.5 year old baby boy. We have to travel to hometown and the air travel time is 2 hours. As its corona time, what are the precautions to be taken @ airport and the baby might not wear the mask all the time, so is there a way to make the baby sleep for 2-3 hours for safety. Please suggest if cetirizine or pedicloryl can be used or any other way. Thanks in advance, it will be really helpful for us.

Hye doctor whenever I take paracetamol and diclofenac and an antibiotic ciprofloxacin 250 I got red spot in my full body and reaction on my face it swells nd after getting cetirizine it got normal but I feel extremely weak unable to get up from bed. My doctor said there is no solution of this but I really want to get some permanent solution bcz in future there will b many situations when I have to take medicine so he said I have to change my blood thus is impossible nd risky too please provide me solution.

This is fixed drug eruption ,a side effect of diclofenac and ciprofloxacin in some individuals. So you should avoid such drugs in near future and take other alternative drugs for your problem.

I get small hives on my skin mostly on legs, arms,feet and buttocks after a day or two from last four weeks .they get suppressed after taking cetirizine but appear again after one or two days. I can't understand the actual reason for them but feel that eating gassy foods may be reason. But problem is why they have started happening now ,i have been eating all types of food always. I have itching in my all over body for last few months. But for last month I am noticing whenever I scratch it leaves some patches with redness over there sometimes patches cover the all area with burning sensation. I have consulted doctor but when the medication over it started again. Now, I have to take cetirizine pills to control the itching. After taking a pill it control the itching for 3-4 days then I have to the pills again. I bath daily even in the winters. I wear clean clothes don't know why it's happening.

I am 59 years old, Schizophrenic since 1987. I was put on various drugs since then and got relief. Of late, I am having hallucinations and delusions and hence am prescribed Trinicalm Plus 1-0-1 and Sizopin 50 mg 0-0-1. There is relief. But Trifluoperazine is causing me mild itching. My Psychiatrist has told me that this drug is also an anti-histamine and hence itching might be due to something else, but to take cetrizine, if only itching persists. I am taking cetrizine 10 mg 1-0-0, since a week and there is no itching. My question is whether to continue cetrizine as long as I am on Trifluoperazine or just stop after taking for a week? Also confirm whether cetrizine has got any side effects or is it habit forming? KIndly be specific in answers.

I had sudden hearing loss in left ear one month ago, I have been taking Medrol 16 mg (3 times a day) for 25 days, along with Verbet 16 mg (3 times, Nerverich, Anti-O, Cetirizine 10 mg (OD) tablets. I had severe Skin Rash (non - itching) on whole body after taking tablet for 20 days. My consultant Dr. stopped Verbet ,Anti-O and reduced the Medrol 16 mg intake to Medrol 8 mg OD. I took Medrol 8 mg for three more days along with with Nerverich and Cetirizine tablets. But as my skin rash continued to grow, I stopped taking these tablets too. And now I find that my rashes are lessening but now they itch. 1. Will stop of Medrol cause any effect? Will its stoppage rebounce the hearing loss 2. Can I take Verbet 16 mg alone as my ear hasn't fully recovered (hearing ability recovered by 60-65%) and I still have Ringing sound problem, it rings 24 hours? Can hearing loss and Tinnitus be fully cured? 3- Treatment of skin rash, will it go away naturally in some days? please help me. Thanks.

I am 58 years old, male, with asthma. I use Salmeterol and Budecort inhalers regularly. But sometimes, I get an attack without warning signs. Then I use Albutamol tablets 1-1-1. This gives relief. I also take Nimulid 1-1-1 to counter chest pain. I also use an antihistamine cetrizine 10 mg 1-0-1 during an attack to lessen the suffering since it has got an anti-congestion effect. But during an attack, I sweat and feel a sense of warmth (not fever) and hence feel the cozy of a fan even during chill weather. . Is it due to the fact that enough oxygen is not being pumped into the body? Can I use the above inhalers two or three times a day and is it safe? Should I continue with Nimulid and cetirizine during those times? Is the above combination which I use safe? Please confirm and give specific answers to these questions. Thank you.

your inhalers are appropriate.
You probably need training in the best technique of inhaler.
Nimusulide for pain be not used frequently.
Sweating etc are body physiologic responses when you have asthma attacks.
During attacks using a symptom relieving short acting inhaler namely levolin or salbutamol is a standard recommendation. Please consult a pulmonologist with all these questions for physiologic assessment.
