The most common cause of shaky hands is essential tremor. This neurological disorder causes frequent, uncontrolled shaking. Other causes of shaky hands include anxiety and seizures. While there's no cure for most hand tremors, prescription medications and lifestyle changes may provide relief, depending on the cause.

Stay active. Regular exercise is good for your physical and emotional health. Don't drink alcohol. Alcohol is a natural sedative. Stop smoking. Smokers often reach for a cigarette during stressful times. Ditch caffeine...
Meditate. Eat a healthy diet. Practice deep breathing.

Dear Uday,
Congratulations for quitting alcohol for 2 days. Please keep on motivating yourself to quit alcohol - only one day at a time. Take the help of Librium 25 mg and pan 40 whenever necessary. Give yourself a gift for not drinking. Shaking, weakness and tiredness are withdrawal symptoms - it will pass away in 2 weeks time, if you persist on your abstinence. Take the help of family and friends to ignore the cravings. All the best.

Welcome back lybrate-user,
congratulations for remaining sober for 72 days. Since you may not get any withdrawal symptoms after so long, you can stop librium tablets. You can reduce to 19 g and stop fully. Do you have craving for alcohol? If so, take anti craving tablets for 9-12 months.

Not withdrawal, as both ativan and librium belong to the same group of drugs. Though you may need to review with your psychiatrist to fine-tune the drugs as per your current symptoms, including sadness. Could be an increase in your primary disorder or a new onset depression, these are not drug related. Sometimes librium help anxiety issues slightly better in the background of any alcohol/substance history. Don't worry, review. Best of luck.

Why would you go against the doctor's orders? Unless you go for therapy, you may not get off of this medication that easily. You are feeling better because of the medication. If you stop abruptly, you will experience a relapses which can be worse than the first attack. What you are suffering from is aa serious disorder and needs continuous medication unless you work with...more
