You are working on effects of anxiety but how about working on main cause of it.
As you already know that it has started from an incident in past so why it has created such impact need to work on that. With medication if you do counselling and psychotherapy you will b able to see the change fast. Metaphor therapy works very good to overcome past issues.

They have limitless side effects...
My suggestion is to take homoeopathic treatment.
With all these hormonal supplements you are likely to suffer for long time.
