Dear Mr. Hisham,
Excessive mucus production can be due to many causes. Since you have not mentioned anything about the tests that you have undergone, I will advice you to meet a good Chest Specialist. Basic Investigations needs to be done. Depending on the results doctors can take further call on your management. I hope you will understand it may sometimes be time consuming to get an accurate diagnosis and relief. All the best.

Your doctor asked you to do an audiometry to detect the severity of hearing loss and other which you might have after experiencing ear trauma. In this test, you are exposed to sounds of varying loudness and of different tones to more carefully assess what you can and can’t hear. Perform the test and consult him with reports for further management.

Papaya is supposed to be a natural treatment for low platelets. Your doctor gave you the best advice possible. Stay hydrated. That is the best thing you can do for dengue. And your platelet count is very good, you need not worry at all. Just watch out for symptoms like bleeding from mouth nose and any other part. There are papaya extract tablets which you can purchase.

The advice given to you is appropriate as you r already nine months pregnant n injectable hematinics will be more efficacious than oral for improving your hb levels (in 2-3 wks) before you go into labour. Otherwise you might require blood transfusion at that time.
