In about 50 percent, the patients have symptoms like loss of weight, increased hunger and thirst, increased urination, tiredness, skin problems etc.

Scientists have concluded that sugar stimulates the exact same centers of the brain, which derive pleasure out of heroin or cocaine. For those who are addicted to sugar, getting off it leads to intense cravings and withdrawal symptoms. If you have an uncontrollable urge to devour something sweet, you probably have sugar addiction too. Sugar is known to release dopamine and opioids, which not only makes it addictive, but makes it extremely difficult for you to overcome the withdrawal symptoms. more

Dear lybrateuser,
- Diabetes is the increase in blood sugar of the person
- it could be type 1 wherein there is lack of insulin production by the pancreas & type 2 ( more commonly found) wherein insulin is produced but there is a problem with its utilization by the body cells, in both cases the blood sugar increases.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
I have gone through the details given. I do see you really have a problem, which is directly related to drinking alcohol (whether beer or otherwise) and consumption of pan packets. Secondly there is no mention about your blood glucose control. No fasting, PP glucose levels and HbA1c% as well as no mention of current treatment (quantitity & type of Insulin being taken as you have T1 DM). Plus you are also stating there is some problem with liver which I...more
