My dermatologist recommended me brite mixed with other cream called futop b.i’ve been using brite almost since a year now. I’ve been having acne n scars it also helped me with that also my complexion. With skipping it for a week or 20 days or so. Also I asked him if it’s safe to use or will it have any side effect with usage or if stopped he told there won’t be any side effect it can later be used alternate days. And the other day hydrocortisone mixed microbenz 3.5%. What should I do? Do I reduce the use or stop it. Will there be any side effect to my skin after stopping it. I’ve been using it with little breaks though. Also I don’t want my skin to go dark due to side effect or anything. What do I do for not getting any side effect on my skin with stopping it. Pls suggest.

I want to know the medicines which cures my itching problems at genital organs symptoms- dryness, scaly skin, leathery skin, itching at scrotum and near by areas, skin is smooth and looks normal like nothing is there but this symptom are occurs more than 1 year treatment taken - 1. Probably the itching in your genital areas is related to dryness if nothing is visible in that area
use a moisturizer daily and a low potent topical steroid can b used on recommendation by a registered dermatologist.

Hi I think I had piles, so I went to a doctor and he prescribed me Pantoprazole Sodium & Domperidone (empty stomach), cefixime 200 mg, satranidazole 300 mg and (aceclofenac 100 mg, paracetamol 325 mg & serratiopeptidase 15 mg) all three twice a day. An ointment of lidocaine, hydrocortisone acetate, zinc oxide and allantoin to apply locally for 7 days. I had that treatment. I had two piles. The pain has reduced and the discomfort as well while passing stool but they are not properly healed. What should I do? I had anal sex earlier, could it be due to that? Other symptoms include itching on the anus, redness and itching on both sides of penis, dead skin at the end of the penis. Please suggest.

I have a lump like skin near anus. No pain or discomfort. Sometimes slight discomfort while defecation. Went to doctor, he said it's just skin due to healed fissure and prescribed sits bath and to apply "calcium dobesilate, lignocaine, hydrocortisone acetate & zinc cream" but have not used it because i'm very busy due to exams. Some say steroid creams are of no use and they just delay healing process. I'm so worried it gives me sleepless nights. How can I reduce this skin? Without surgery. Pls answer. Asking for 20 year old. Doctor said it will be reduced by applying cream. Should I use it? Or will it delay healing process like some are saying?

There is no medical management for skin tags. If you do not have any pain or discomfort, you can discontinue the cream/ointments. The skin tag won't go away without surgery, but will not cause any harm either.

Respected Doctor, I am 29 years old, 96 kg weight. From last 17th June, 2018 I felt inflammation inside the prepuce and glans penis. There was reddish things at the glans area & excessive itching in the scrotum. I had consulted with a Professor of dermatology. He investigation was" candidal Balanoposthitis & ICD Scrotum. He suggested me to take capsule, fluconazole 50 mg twice daily, tablet, rupatadin once daily & miconazole + hydrocortisone ointment for one month. I stopped the medicine 31st july. After using the medicine I was quite good. But from 8 august the inflammation & itchiness inside the foreskin area and glans penis starts again. Please note that I am unmarried & didn't have any sexual intercourse. Looking for permanent solution.

Sir, I am suffering from high bp since 35. Yrs at present my age is 63, pure vegetarian even didn't take egg, no drinking, no smoking. No bad habits. .in 2014 year I had severe giddiness with like vertigo head is revolving like clock & hospitalized treated with stugeron forte, diligon, vertin, stablanz-pv, tablets, after 10 days discharged with a prescription of same medicine, after two months the tablets for giddiness were stopped. As per the neuro physician advice, telma80 mg, morning and in the night cinod. 20 mg, at present my bp is 145/86, I am continuing with this two tablets since five years, besides this I am suffering from gouty arthritis and dvt, since 5 years, for which medicines such as acitrom 2 mg & 1 mg. For alternate days according to pt & inr. Reports. For gouty, febuxoget 40 mg. And dolonex. Dt. Regularly. Since 5 years. I am suffering very weak and nervousness,(fatigue) and severe muscle cramps, for which doctor prescribed re nerve plus inj. For monthly and ucalamin tablets daily one, no heart problem and diabetes, and no other complications. But I am having very nervousness, muscle cramps, breathlessness, even after using renerve plus inj and ucalamin tablets, only two or three days feeling better after taking injection, after that same fatigue, breathing problem and nervousness occurring with backache, and when bending towards down, feeling breathless fatigue, even though lungs and heart is normal in cardiologist examination, Recently I had suffered edema, swelling, could say, whole body retention of water, gaining suddenly weight gaining. When consulted a local physician he advised .chlorothiazide12. 5 & dytor plus. 10 mg. Along with telma. 80 mg.& cinod 20. Mg. Tablets, and advised to continue the tablets for dvt. Gouty, as usual. I am using the same tablets since two months and continuing, swelling, water retention is under control. But in this time I am suffering from, hemorrhoids, bleeding with high pain in anus, facing very difficulty in defecation. Some bump or a little shape has come out at the out side of anus. Currently, most likely you are having a fissure in ano and most of your other treatment is going well, except for hemorrhoids. I would suggest you to visit a nearby general surgeon for further needful treatment instead of self medication with potentially dangerous medicines like deflazacort and ultracet (i presume you haven't consulted a general surgeon yet).

I am suffering from chronic fissure, with little skin tag outside anus Sentinel pile. Initially I was having harsh pain in anus, so I went to doctor for treatment. He told there is crack in fissure. He has given me medicines for 2 weeks. Medicines are as 1.puffbuta,2.severe3.wellorab, 4.softovac - bowel regulator. One week past, today I again went to doctor to ask regarding skin tag, asked whether surgery is required. I also told there is much relief in my anus pain. But I am scared about Sentinel pile. Doctor said there is no need of surgery, there are many cases like this which are treated and cured by medicines without surgery. Also doctor said why you want to do surgery as it will have a harsh pain. And you will have to sit in home for 2-3 days after surgery. I am very much scared with surgery. But I am very much scared with skin tag. The doctor had also given me smuth cream which contains hydrocortisone acetate, calcium dobesilate, zinc. This is to be inserted deep inside anus. Currently I am not using it, shall I use it even if I have skin tag. I also don't know whether this fissure will be cured by medicines. I am very much scared. I have also started drinking milk 1cupwith lemon crushed in it, for better results. Also I am taking sits bath as told by doctor one to two times in a day. Please help, (Please briefly explain my problem my query that whether I will get rid from skin tag without surgery, and also suggest if any other remedy to get cure.

Fissure can happen again any type in case of excessively hard stools.
Even after operation fissure can happen again.

Health Query

I’ve had redness on my penis that i’ve had a difficult time getting rid of. Initially, there were roundish red spots; later, after using a steroid, the roundish red spots disappeared, but a general redness remained, and continues still. Interestingly, i’ve noticed that when my penis is flaccid, the redness is hardly (or even not-at-all) noticeable. But invariably when it is erect – whether I have sex or not – it is quite red (ie. Head/glans and approximately two inches of the shaft directly below the head/glans). No problematic symptoms, like itching or pain (although slight burning during intercourse). But I find it very unsightly. The dermatologist who has now seen it twice thinks it is probably eczema, but isn’t sure. He said it could also be caused by fungal, allergic, friction, or other reasons. Here are the treatments i’ve tried: (1) first, I tried alclometasone dipropionate cream 0.05% twice daily for approximately 2 weeks. (2) then, for approximately two weeks, I applied ketoconazole cream 2% once a day (in the mornings), while simultaneously applying eucrisa (crisaborole) ointment 2% in the evenings. (3) then I tried orally taking claritin 10 mg for six days to see if it might be connected to allergies, even though I have no known allergies. (4) the last thing i’ve tried was applying protopic ointment 0.03% twice daily for approximately two weeks. While some of the above helped a bit, none of these got rid of the redness, which has remained the whole time since this redness first appeared (approximately four months ago). I’m thinking that the steroid probably worked best, but I do have some concern about using steroids on my penis skin, as i’ve heard it can problematically thin out that skin, but i’m willing to take some risk with this. I have tubes of what I believe to be two different steroids that I haven’t used yet for this problem: triamcinolone acetonide cream 0.1%, and clotrimazole and betamethasone dipropionate cream 1%/0.05% (base). Should I try either of them on my penis (or maybe even try over-the-counter hydrocortisone 1%, although this may be too weak to do much?) any other suggestions? (3) then I tried orally taking claritin 10 mg for six days to see if it might be connected to allergies, even though I have no known allergies.
