My partner (female) was diagnosed with genital herpes (she got an active outbreak) infection. She was given trikase aciclovir cream with which the sores cleared up in 4 days. We both then took the herpes simplex virus (hsv ii) antibody blood test, about 2 weeks after her outbreak subsided. Her results: hsv antibodies igg (ii: 0.79 index hsv antibodies igm (ii): 1.43 index my (male) results: hsv antibodies igg (ii): 27.72 index for your information: we were not aware of such medical condition in us before going through this test. I never had any herpes symptom (i.e. No herpes sores on outside of lips, no visible sore on my penis) before in my life. My concerns: 1. Does this mean both of us have herpes, as any value above 1.1 is positive? 2. Is my value of 27.72 too high? What does it mean? Does it pose any extra risk? 3. Are there any other stis we would be prone to which we should get tested?(fyi, I don't have multiple partners, neither she has.)

1) this means both of you have immunity to wards herpes 2) no risk anymore as you already have your body's own defense mechanism working and it has a memory
3) no need of any more test.

I'm 28 unmarried. I'hve intercourse with a guy after my period done that is on 6th day without any safety next day morning (21stay) I took ipill too. Then after I got 3 days white discharge painful and next 3 days I got blood flow I was very highly infected. Next day I consulted games and said everything I got blisters in the genital area and read spots beside the vaginal area. It was like very painful when sitting or urinating also. She gave me aciclovir tablet and cream (herpex5) and bacterial tablet. My blisters got cleared within 3 days and also infection also totally cleared then after 2 days I got slighter itching throughout the uterus area including vaginal area I went to doc again and she checked again she said nothing to worry it's just a fungal infection and she just gave zocon c ointment but still my itching didn't went. I'm much worried and tensed. I don't have any diabetes or thyroid or any diseases. After mtng hm only I got infection in my genital area also before I dint got any prob in my 28 years of my life. This means did I got any herpes infection and when my itchiness go. Pls gve me best advise doctor. Or should I use any other cream for itchiness.

Most probably this can be the commonest fungal infection but kindly rule out the same by help of an examination and a ph test.

I did test HIV 1-2 or p24 combo test. At 10 day after explore and hsv 1 2 vdrl hepatitis B. HIV vdrl hepatitis was non reactive and hsv-2was non reactive Hsv -1 is high its >30 .now I'm feeling sore Thorat joint pain and muscles aches. My lquestion I do sex with a call girl use all protection like condom no nipple suck no lip kiss but when I removing condom there was a cut on my finger I am not confirm that vaginal fluid (pre discharge) touch the cut or not .but very next day I feel sore Thorat burning itching very much only after 8 9 hours now I'm feeling some relief but not full relief I'm taking acivir 400 mg three times a day or agumantin 625 two times from last 4 days. I want to know is these test are conclusive at this stage and why these problems I have please and wt can I do now.

Yes just cool down as hsv is a aerial infection which can be contracted by touch or just being together or fingers, but it is a self limiting and not dangerous. Please take proper dosage for a proper time and also do salt water gargles or wash all areas. Cow ghee also helps and if seen by a doctor only in person he can decide to add further medicines.

IT is viral infection. you can use cream acivir on marks of chicken pox/herpes .
tab. acivir 800 mg 5 times in day. tab. dolo 650 mg thrice a day.
tab. lcz3 once at night.
there is no use of tab. azithral--500.

Having Zoster hermes since past 15days. Area covered is on torso(half inch above navel) full band from spine till center stomach filled with small blisters, have 3 big blisters covered with pus(half inch diameter, didn’t break). Acivir cream+tablets(thrice a day) in progress since day 1. Suplementary medicines like Antacid+Pain reliever. For weakness taking Bicomplex forte+Neurobian Forte and for nerve relaxation Mecobion-OD tab. Today(16day), every blister has become black & fallen off. The big blister also which had become black now fallen exposing red colored skin underneath. Still not able to sleep+rest on back, back full aching+paining, many times during day the area infected pains a lot(internally) , pines & needles which existed for almost a month has stopped from day 12th. Qs is a)What precautions should I take henceforth as I am travelling to Australia now for 3 months b)how long for pain to go offc) how long to continue Avicir medicines application. I don’t know whom to consult hence seeking advise here.

You should consult a dermatologist. 10 days of acyclovir is sufficient. Now you are having post herpetic neuralgia, needs two months of treatment with pregabalin. Kindly consult dermatologist.

I'm 43 male on 7th of July 2016 I did sex with a call girl I used all protection like two condoms no lip kiss no nipple sucking but when I was removing condom there was a cut (lower side ) in same finger that I use to remove condom. i'm not sure that fluid (pre discharge ) had touched the cut or not is 50-50. But very next day almost after 12 hours I felt sore there itching or burning. I waited for 4-5 days then I went to a Doctor He asked me for some tests .on after 10 day to explore 1.hiv1-2 and p24 combo test---non reactive 2.vdrl--non reactive 3-hepatitis-b--non reactive 4.hsv-1or hsv-2---hsv2 is in the range but hsv -1 was high its >30 When the refer range is. <0.09 . My Dr. Give me the acivir 400 mg three times a day for 10 days and agumantin 625 for 4 days for sore there. Now after 10 day symptoms are some thing low but not complete gone I'm not feeling well. Now on 28 the day after explore I do HIV 1 2 and p24 combo test again that is non reactive . But I feel muscles pain or joint pain burning or itching and mouth sores why is this Sir test like HIV-1-2 combo is conclusive or not on 28 the day And why I'm feeling symptoms like this is this HIV symptoms please help me ,

Fever with rose petals rash all over the body is a typical symptom of chicken pox and I will suggest you to take symptomatic treatment along with aciclovir and don't scrub any lesions.

Hi, we have to give symptomatic treatment for now can give tb paracetamol and tb cetrizine
and if it is second day then better to start with tb aciclovir.
