You should adopt the following precautions after retinal surgery:
(1) positioning of the face: if oil/ gas has been implanted into the eye, you would require strict head down/ face down positioning (prone positioning) for as many hours a day as possible.
(2) putting drops regularly as advised by the retina specialist.
(3) avoid over head bath/ soap application on the face and head for at least 15 days after the surgery.

Hello. There are multiple causes responsible for diminution/ blurring of vision. Let me enumerate them in brief for you:
(1) refractive error. This is one of the commonest reasons responsible. Minus or plus number in one eye or both eyes may be responsible for weak/ blurred vision.
