Hello doc, I have been suffering from itching in vagina. From past one month. I have been to gynac. She said its jus normal infection which will go off with time. She gave me taxi mo & a syrup course for a week. But when I left those medicines again itching started. Now. I have been to homeopath. She says its fungal infection. How can a doc conclude that its a fungal infection. She said. If h only have itching. From past over a month chances are it's fungal infection doq n there. I did my urine test in dat every thing was normal except pus cell count & Epithelial cell count. Can anybody pls acknowledge what might be wrong. am I going right.

Dear Sir/madam I diagnosed with TB on 6 jun 2018. I had plural fluid in my right lung so my doctor removed it and started the treatment of TB with AKT 4. I fill very well after the treatment started but from 22 jun 2018 again I am not filling well and the cough is again started. Today I was go to my doctor and tell him my cough again started. He advised me to do cheat x ray and ESR test. Todays ESR result is 92 which is 80 on 16 jun 2018. In chest x-ray also some amount of plural fluid is increased. Hence he prescribed me to 1.Dextromethorphan HBR and amylmetacresol lozenges 2.Moxifloxacin Hcl 3.cetrizine dihcl 4. becosules 5.AKT 4 6.pyridoxine Hcl. I want ask you that can cough increase after the treatment started or it may be due another reason.

Health Query

I had long course of antibiotics after septoplasty, which were prulifloxacin (percin), cefixime trihydrate (mortega), Cefixime Dicloxacillin (Cefi XL), Levofloxacin (Glevo), & Moxifloxacin (Mahaflox). After 15 days of taking last dose of antibiotic I started feeling upset in stomach. Doctor prescribed me probiotics (VIBACT DS). I got some relief. But now its been more than 20 days my stomach is still little upset (somr hard stools, more bowel movements etc.) I am also taking Rafron DSR capsules (rabeprazole + domperidone). For which I read that rabeprazole also causes abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, gas etc. I also tested stool, there is no blood, occult blood or any other abnormalities. So I was wondering what exactly causing my abdominal discomfort. should I stop taking Rafron DSR capsules? Or if the condition is caused by antibiotics, then how much time it will take to settle? (Its already 23 days now since my stomach is upset)

Better be off all the medicines Take simple nourishing diet Home made liquids ie clear veg soups Lassi Chhachh every 2-3 hrs Plate full of fresh fruits salad twice daily before breakfast and dinner is good Long walks for 30-40 minutes daily before breakfast and dinner helps.

I am suffering from anxiety and fear that I am having some serious disease. It all started from the vertigo attack which happened 6 months back. Though it lasted for only few minutes but gave me a scary experience. After that I had a gastro kind of stomach upset. More than 10-12 doctors I have consulted, visited many hospitals. Got all kinds of random tests done. Tests were normal one doctor advised me clarithromycin thrice a day for 10 days along with moxifloxacin and gentle but still I have the feeling of unwellness. Now I am suffering from ibs symptoms for that I have taken cisa spa and pantop d. Suffering from chronic constipation. Random pains here and there in stomach and other body parts. Always in a state of anxiety and fear. Though I feel hungry but do not feel like eating. Not able to eat or sleep properly. Now advice me whomever should I visit or what should I do. Sep'17: foreign body sensation in my left eye started & whenever I'd splash water into my eyes it'd hurt. 1 day I used one Kajal so my other eye also got affected. A sensation happens in the veins of my left side temple. If something gets into my eyes, it hurts so much. A little swelling and feeling of pressure on left eyelid. Oct'17: went to a doctor. Took following med: 1. Refresh eye drop 4× a day (1 mo) No improvement. Nov'17: visited other Dr. Took following med: 1.Lotepred eye drops 3× a day (10 days) 2.Genteal eye drops 3× a day (1 month) No improvement. Mar'18: visited other Dr. Took following med: 1. Genteal eye drop 4× a day (15d) 2. Flur eye drops 2× a day (10 d) 3. Neurobion forte tablets once a day (15 d) No improvement. I think: might be an infection because initially it was in 1 eye, on using Kajal my other eye got infected. Not dryness or bacterial infection as I already took eye drops for that which didn't work. Maybe fungal infection? Please suggest what to do.

Hi doctor, my mother is suffering from dementia. This has occurred post a series of hospitalizations where she was treated for a clot in the leg. She was fine till the blood thinner medication given became excessive and then blood thinning was controlled to avoid haemmorage. Her condition became worse and finally it took more than 6 months to stabilize. However, she started behaving strangely and started loosing her temper. We were told by doctors dementia has set in and they gave medication to deal with my mother's condition but said there was no cure. Read your article and was impressed by your knowledge on the subject of dementia treatment through homeopathy. I believe that you may be better equipped to throw light on her condition and if homeopathy can provide some relief. Hello I am 30 years old. I have conceived two times but both pregnancies ended with a miscarriage. First time there was no heartbeat in first ultrasound and the embryo growth was 6 weeks. This time I had mo symptoms of miscarriage. It was a silent abortion. The doctor did not suggest any test. Bur we did torch and it was normal. I had my first miscarriage in august 2017 and after few months I again conceived in march 2018 but this time also in first tvs there was no fetal pole only sac was there. Second pregnancy also ended with a miscarriage. This time I started bleeding and lower abdominal severe pain. Now the doctor will take few tests as rubella after 6 weeks. What should I do now? My periods are regular and I have done tsh and torch test after my first miscarriage and it was all normal. Now I am going to have rubella vaccination.

Don't worry, most of the times we don't find any cause for the symptoms. Just be patient, relaxed and get the vaccine and try for a pregnancy again. Hopefully this time everything will be OK.

Asked for male, 40 years old from Mumbai

My niece is 18 years old, she has mdr tb with meningitis. She has completed almost 8 month treatment with below medicines, she is on amikacin 600 mg * 5 days a week injection for almost 8 months, along with dexa 0.5 mg (steroid). Dexa tapered from 12 mg to 1 mg gradually, but she has developed avn so dexa 1 mg suddenly stopped. After 3 days of dexa 1 mg stopped, she stared to get fever & vomiting & neck pain. Is it due to dexa stopped? Her doctor suspects this fever is because of one of the mdr tb drug so she has suggest to stop all mdr tb medicines. Also yesterday when were checking her fever, the bip of thermometer she is not able to hear, even we brought the thermometer close to her ear even then also was not able to hear but what we speak she can here clearly. Is it because of amikacin? Should we stopped amikacin as only 10 days left to complete 8 months amikacin course. What would be the next plan about amikacin if the problem is like this. Request you to please suggest at the earliest. Amikacin 600 mg * 5 days a week ethionamide 250 mg 1-1 linezolid 300 mg clofazimine 100 mg cycloserine 250 mg 1-1 moxifloxacin 400 mg dexa 4-4-4 18 days then taper off.

Get hearing tested. Amicin can be stopped. Cause of fever need assessment. Drug failure or any other cause.

I am having Pink Eye. From last 2 days, I am putting Ciplox medicine in my eye, however there is very less improvement. I used Zaditor too (Alergy infection) but there is very less improvement. Please suggest me which is best medicine.

If you have the diacharge of yellow coler then u shold go for moxifloxacin eye drops 5 times a day.
Its a self limting conjuctivitis infection .Ll clear with a week and take leave from work for 3 days at least.
