The antibiotics that you took are good enough. Typhoid fever may take upto two weeks to get completely alright. Continue antibiotics till 48 hours of fever free period.

U100 and u40 is different. If you will commit mistake in that than there can be dangerous outcome.And your sugar will go haywire. And also both insulin is different. Ask your diabetologist about it.

Yes you can switch to novomix. But under the supervision of your physician. As the dose has to be adjusted frequently.

You have to use lantus but instead novo rapid, you can use actrapid or insuman rapid, but shift it under strict doctor's monitoring.

yes cheaper alternatives are available..like huminsulin regular and NPH insulin..but lantus and novorapid are better ones if u can afford

Hi. I have been taking nitrofurantoin for urinary tract infection from 3 days as advised by gynec. But severe piles like symptoms due to this antibiotic. Can't sit or stand. Severe pain. UTI has come down. I am taking lots of fluid and fiber. Gynec is asking me to take it 7 more days. Can I change the antibiotic. Acc to culture, ampicillin sulbactam, norflox, levoflox and few others are sensitive. Can I change the antibiotic now.

Certainly. Nitrofurantoin can discolour urine or stools. Avoid it. Better medicine is single dose of norfloxacin.
