I am 25 years old and have had a back pain so what's are the treatment which I should keep so it doesn't occur.

I am 25 years old and have had a back pain so what's are the treatment which I should keep so it doesn't occur.
Here are some tips for how to handle your back pain: -stop normal physical activity for the first few days. This will help relieve your symptoms and reduce any swelling in the area of the pain. -apply heat or ice to the painful area. One good method is to use ice for the first 48 to 72 hours, and then use heat. Take pain relievers medicine. --while sleeping, try lying in a curled-up, fetal position with a pillow between your legs. If you usually sleep on your back, place a pillow or rolled towel under your knees to relieve pressure. -do not perform activities that involve heavy lifting or twisting of your back for the first 6 weeks after the pain begins. -avoid bending forward and sitting in a place for long time -stretching and strengthening exercises are important. But, starting these exercises too soon after an injury can make your pain worse. -some physiotherapy treatment like ift current can give you some relief. -a full history of your problem should be taken and your movements assessed by a physiotherapist. Please consult a physiotherapist for the same. Best wishes.

In this age group, most common cause of shoulder pain is impingement syndrome or Rotator cuff tear or tendinopathy. She will need some medicines and exercises. Ice packs 5 times daily for 10 minutes every time. She will need exercises for back as well. Some posture modification is required. Treatment is essential.

I am 47 years, male. Since a week now, I am experiencing a creaking/clicking sound in my right knee. There is no pain, but I'm concerned. What should be my next step? As per my location, can you advice any medical consultation and line of treatment. Thanks.

Well creaking sound is a warning sign. There is a fluid in our joints which aids in easy movement and acts as a cushion and a protective layer for the bones as well creaking sound means that your joint fluid levels have depleted. Considering your age, ignoring this may lead to osteo arthritis etc. My advice - get a x ray done. Then undergo this wonderful ayurveda therapy called janu vasti to replenish the lost joint fluids. This is a 7 day course and takes about 45 minutes daily diet wise - work on improving your calcium levels fruits like chikku, banana, guava are rich in calcium. Dates are great as well sesame - this is the wonder drug to replenish joint fluids. You can have 1 tsp of sesame oil or roasted and powdered sesame everyday. Ideally mix it with one morsel of your food like rice/roti and have it. Milk/buttermilk is advised as well practice knee joint exercises regularly.

If you usually sleep on your back, place a pillow or rolled towel under your knees to relieve pressure. -Find a mattress with back support. A good mattress should provide support for the natural curves and alignment of the spine. Medium-firm mattresses usually provide more back pain relief than firm mattresses. -Do not perform activities that involve heavy lifting or twisting of your back for the first 6 weeks after the pain begins. -Avoid bending forward and sitting in a place for long time -Good posture plays a key role in your spine health, helping to prevent additional back and neck pain and even injuries to spinal structures. Try to be aware of your posture and make good posture part of your normal routine. -head up, shoulders back, rear tucked under -Stand and walk with correct posture -Sit with support -Lift and carry carefully -And finally, keep moving:-Maintaining a static position for too long—more than twenty or thirty minutes at a time—is hard on the back. Prolonged static posture can slowly deplete elasticity from the tissues. By simply moving—be it a change of position, a stretch, or a short walk—the tissue elasticity needed to protect your joints can be restored and the associated discomfort reduced. -Stretching and strengthening exercises are important. But, starting these exercises too soon after an injury can make your pain worse. -Some Physiotherapy treatment like IFT current can give you relief. -Consult a Physiotherapist for detail assessment and management of your back pain. Best wishes.
