I am suffering from teeth problem, and they become yellow, what should I do for making white?

MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Dentist, Chennai
Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations to decide upon treatment. You may need deep cleaning along with whitening procedures (bleaching or laser) and / or artificial enamel filling. You may consult me in person too. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush.

Even if I brush my teeth twice in day they're becoming yellowish day by day. I am using colgate visible white paste. It worked on my teeth and they get whiter for last 1 year. But now teeth are becoming yellow. Is it a kind of dental problem.

MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Dentist, Chennai
The simplest method of removing minor surface stains is polishing, or micro-abrasion if staining is more intrinsic. Provided that your discolouration is not due to inadequate enamel exposing the dentin, tooth whitening (bleaching) is often the most effective treatment for yellow stained teeth. Advance procedures can be done with laser. Use snowdent tooth paste for whitening until then. Apply snowdent paste on the teeth. Wait for 10 to 15 min. Then brush your teeth with the same paste. Applying it overnight for better results.

If its not broken it can be treated with root canal or else you can get it removed and replace with an implant or crown and bridge.

Exposure of (dentin or cementum) layer of the tooth or trauma to the root nerve tissue causes sensation when drinking hot or cold. Get filling done by a dentist.

Hi. am 20. When I brush my teeth. Their comes blood it start bleeding since some days ago. What I this. Is that all normal. Or I have to take medicine for it. please suggest.

MDS - Periodontics, BDS
Dentist, Mumbai
Hi. Bleeding from gums suddenly or on brushing occurs most commonly due to Swollen gums and Pyorrhea. I would request you to consult the dentist and get the scaling done and the dentist will guide you further. Bleeding reduces once the treatment started and with proper oral hygiene habits.

Root canal treatment is to save your teeth if you not Willing to remove your teeth and replace it don't keep decayed teeth untreated

Hi sir this is raju and I have big problem. My teeth was very pain after every 2-3 days. So I press request answer my question and help & I do not kow what I problem please help.

MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Dentist, Chennai
The type of treatment you have for toothache will depend on the cause of the pain, so your dentist will examine your mouth and may carry out an X-ray to try to identify the problem. • If your toothache is caused by tooth decay, your dentist will remove the decayed area and replace it with a filling. • If your toothache is caused by a loose or broken filling, the filling will be taken out, any decay will be removed and a new filling put in place. • If the pulp inside your tooth is infected, you may need root canal treatment. This procedure involves removing the infected pulp and then inserting a special type of filling to seal the tooth and prevent re-infection. • If your toothache can't be treated using these methods, or if your tooth is impacted (wedged between another tooth and your jaw), it may need to be removed.

Hi Maire teeth bahar hai . Maire age 25 year hai braceses is age main result dega ya nhi.

Dentist, Faridabad
You can have braces at this age. They are pretty successful but the only thing is it take time more as the age advances. Since at younger ages when our jaws are growing it takes less time to complete treatment. The body respond fastly at younger age.

There is pain in my left jaw.Whenever I chew. When I open my mouth quite wide also feel little pain.

MFDS RCPS (Glasgow), MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, BDS
Dentist, Delhi
Your symptoms might be due to problems with the jaw joint and/or its associated muscles. For better evaluation, please see an oral surgeon. In the meantime, try to avoid opening your mouth too wide, or eating very hard, chewy food.

I had my first sitting of root canal treatment on my wisdom tooth as it was not properly emerged and got infected. The removal was a small OT and I was hesitant of that. The first sitting was a bit painful at times. Can RCT be painful? The doctor told me that the abcess was deep and that caused pain.

BHMS
Homeopath, Delhi
Hi lybrate-user RCt is not painful as they put local anaesthesis and then you can not feel the pain. But when the sitting is done and the effect of anaesthesia is over then you can feel slight pain as the nerves are being operated so the dentist prescribes you painkillers for that time. So all in all no pain in the procedure. And do not take abscess or RCT lightly and should be done on time! Takecare.
