Hello doctor! There is a problem in my teeth. Now a days it's growing black&weak in lower area, please suggest me what to do or some toothpastes for it?
For the past few months I have a burnt feeling in my tongue as if I have taken a very hot coffee or tea but I have not taken any hot liquid. I have a bitter feeling in my tongue and there is uncomfort feeling in the tongue. I have uneasiness under my right foot (below the finger next to Toe) as something is piercing like a nail/boil under the foot (below the finger next to Toe). I have taken all tests recently viz. CBP, Lipid profile, creatine, LFT and blood sugar. All tests are normal but for fasting blood sugar 126 and triglycerides above normal. I have right inguinal hernia for the past 10 months and I am planning to go for surgery shortly. In the past 8 months my weight decreased by 5 kgs. Any further tests required. Kindly advice.
I am experiencing extreme sensitivity in one of my pre molars and that tooth is decayed. I don't wish to get it extracted. Please provide me with a solution.
Why to replace missing teeth ?
Tooth Shifting: When you lose a tooth, the surrounding teeth begin drifting into the open gap, shifting your teeth out of alignment. What once was a straight smile can quickly turn into crooked teeth.
TMJ Syndrome: When teeth shift out of alignment after tooth loss, bite problems usually develop. When the upper and lower jaws don’t meet properly, it strains and damages the jaw joint (TMJ).
Gum Disease/Tooth Decay: Once teeth shift out of alignment, it is harder to reach some spots with your toothbrush or floss. When plaque and bacteria aren’t reached, tooth decay and periodontal disease develop, often causing further tooth loss.
Face Shape Alteration: When the tooth root is not replaced from a missing tooth, bone deterioration can quickly lead to face shape alteration, changing your appearance.
Best options to replace missing teeth
Dental implants : An implant is a great way to replace a missing tooth. This solution feels and acts the most like a natural tooth when chewing, brushing or smiling. The implant replaces the actual root of the missing tooth and heals in the bone for several months. We then place an abutment, to which a crown will be cemented. A major advantage is no need to alter any other teeth when placing an implant. An implant is a great solution for a single missing tooth, and even more implants can replace many missing teeth. When smiling or talking there is no way to tell the difference between an implant and a natural tooth.
Bridges : A bridge is an option when there are teeth on either side of the missing tooth. A bridge is a fixed solution that stays cemented in the mouth and does not come out. This method involves cutting down the teeth on either side of the missing tooth to be able to connect them together.
Removable partial denture : A removable partial denture, which is worn during the day, can replace one or many missing teeth. Sometimes a partial denture may need metal clasps to help it stay in the mouth. Unfortunately, these metal clasps may be visible when speaking or smiling. Another disadvantage of a removable partial denture is that they can move a little when speaking or eating, which can be uncomfortable.
