I m 26 year old male. Actually my eyes gets red every night before went to bed. Usually I work on computers for long ...
Redness of the eyes has multiple causes associated with it. To enumerate a few common causes: (1)Allergy of the eye. It is usually caused by improper eye hygiene. There is a tendency to rub the eyes with fingers, handkerchief, cloth, etc. This is not a good habit because it tends to transmit lots of virus, bacteria and dust into the eye. Allergy usually presents with symptoms of watering (clear water), redness and itching of the eye. (2)Infectious conjunctivitis : this is usually associated with white-yellowish discharge. If so, it would be a good idea to go and show to an eye specialist in person. (3)Foreign body lodged in the eye. This is more commonly associated with people who drive 2 wheeler vehicles without protection. It occurs more commonly in one eye. Foreign bodies that commonly get lodged are eyelashes, insect wings, small insects, dust particles, iron particles(more common with people working in the iron industry) The solution for a foreign body lodged in the eye would be better provided by an eye specialist AT THE CLINIC. (4)Raised intraocular pressure: This is a condition known as glaucoma. it is not so common as the previous mentioned conditions. There is usually associated pain in the eyes. It is commonly bilateral(occurs in both eyes). There is usually a positive family history of glaucoma associated in a majority of the cases. (5)Inflammation of the coats of the eyeball. This is known as "uveitis". It is also a relatively less common condition. There is associated pain. It would require a thorough eye checkup including the retina-thus a good idea would be to visit the eye specialist in person. FROM THE SYMPTOMS DESCRIBED BY YOU, it seems more likely to be a case of allergy. Maintaining the precautions and hygiene that I mentioned should probably work well for you. Hope my suggestions helped you. Take care, regards-Dr. Chaitanya.

Hello- headache is due to your improper sleep and indigestion. Try these ayurvedic treatment- a) use pure almond oil as nasal drops (2 drops) twice daily. B) use shirah shool vajra ras 2 tab twice daily. C) do not sleep in day time. D) avoid fast foods and increase ghee in your diet. E) practice anulom vilom daily in the early morning.

It also will help to prevent or know if he may have any more stroke in future and also cause of it.

My eyes irritate. I got my eyes tested a couple of months ago and they were absolutely fine. I don't have any issues with sight. I can see properly. But I have noticed that this happens to me in summer and when we are approaching summer. I'm also allergic to dust and pollution. Need some advice for cleaning eyes as they scratch especially on the lid.

MD - Ophthalmology
Ophthalmologist, Dehradun
Try to avoid contact with all.Known allergens, and for mild to moderate irritation go for cold/ ice compression multiple times a day. Most of the time this will suffice if done properly and if not responding then it's better to have an opinion by an eye surgeon

Hi, First accept yourself as you are. To avoid any health issue you need to take action by doing exercise as part of your routine. Initially you can join group activities such as yoga or aerobics which will motivate you. It is possible to dedicate an hour in a day. Talk to a dietician who can help to help you with right diet which will help you in the right way. Every time you feel change appreciate yourself and reward yourself. This will help to achieve the goal.

Hi I want to loose my weight and I also want to know that how can I improve my eye sight vision.

Hi I want to loose my weight and I also want to know that how can I improve my eye sight vision.
Hello, homoeopathy has the best answer for your query. You can lose weight with the help of homoeopathic medicines, without any side effects. This involves correction your metabolism. 1. Take phytolacca berry tablets (wsi), 2 tablets with warm water, three times a day, half an hour before meals. 2. Fatoline drops from haslab, 15 drops + 1/2 cup of warm water, twice a day. 3. Take 1 glass of luke warm water with lemon juice and honey in the morning for 15 days in a month. 4. Take 1 cup of green tea in the evening daily. 5. Do surya namaskar, yoga asans like bhujangasana (cobra pose), sarvangasana (shoulder stand pose, vajrasana (diamond pose), pavanamuktasana (wind-relieving pose), matsyasana (fish pose) 6. Avoid sweets, oily, spicy, junk food, chocolates. 7. Drink plenty of water daily. 8. Eat good quantity of green vegetables, salad and fruits. Do these exercises to improve your eye sight:- warm your eyes. Rub your palms together to create heat, and then place them against your eyes for five seconds. Repeat this three times. Roll your eyes. Start by looking up and then slowly circle 10 times clockwise and 10 times counterclockwise. Focus. Hold a pen at arm's length, focus your eyes on it, and slowly bring the pen closer until it's about 6 inches away from your nose. Then slowly move it back, keeping your eyes focused on the pen, 10 times in all. Massage your temples. Using your thumb knuckles, massage your temples in small circles, 20 times in one direction and 20 in the other. Repeat the same actions above the mid-point of the eyebrows at the forehead, then below the eyes on both sides of the bridge of the nose. Take a mini-nap. Put your head back, close your eyes, and relax for 3 minutes. Insufficient sleep may weaken your vision, so shoot for 8 hours of sound sleep a night. Rest your eyes 10 minutes for every 50 minutes spent reading or in front of the computer. If your eyes feel overly tired, lie down and place cooling cucumber slices over your eyelids.

From past month she is complaining of dizziness and blackness in front of her eyes, this episode happens every once in a week. Should I be worried? Or it's just the strain from the phone?

Is it episode of total blackout in eye or she see something floating in front of eyes. Anyways you should consult an ophthalmologist for a dilated fundus examination for the same. Also you should consult a physician for episodes of dizziness. Hope you find it useful.

Clean your lid margins with johnsons buds dipped in lukewarm water looking into mirror, twice a day and then clean it with lukewarm water. This would take care of that. Also check for dandruff on your head as it frequently coexists.

Hello, Include the following for getting better vision: Vitamins A, C, E, and minerals like copper and zinc are essential to eyesight. Get the antioxidants from dark leafy greens, egg yolks, yellow peppers, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, and carrots. Include garlic, onions and capers. Blueberries, grapes, and goji berries have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that can help improve your vision. DHA is a fatty acid found in coldwater fish like wild salmon, sardines, mackerel, and cod. Exercises for eyes: Warm your eyes.
