Hello I read your question. It seems as if you are bothered with constipation/irregularities of your bowel habbits. Let me tell you how can your digestive system be regularized. First of all have a look at your life style. Regular sleep and dietary habbits, in most of cases suffice. Any addictions, may be smoking, drinking, tobacco chewing etc. Also have bad effects on digestion. In addition, increase mix salad helps a lot. Add fruits of season compulsorily to lunch. Extra effort for thw problem maay be taken in the form of 2 spoons of honey added to half a cup of warm water every morning empty stomach is excellent remedy. A week or so, if followed the above, still persistent, medicines may be prescribed. Not now. Hope satisfied. Regards.

General Physician,
They are doing right treatment for you. Why getting worried. I shall not be able to say why they choose to put you on steroid. Definitely they that was right at that time. In mild cases, only careful observation may be required but very low counts or significant bleeding may prompt treatment with corticosteroids, intravenous immunoglobulin, anti-d immunoglobulin, or immunosuppressive drugs. Refractory itp (not responsive to conventional treatment) may require splenectomy, the surgical removal of the spleen. Platelet transfusions may be used in severe bleeding together with a very low count. Sometimes the body may compensate by making abnormally large platelets. So have patience, if feel anxious may take a second opinion from a reputed institution like cmc vellore.

Keep ice to reduce the inflammation of the shoulder and you can use a pillow while lying to hike the shoulder as you might feel better everyday morning without pain. And also it looks like subluxation of shoulder ie. Shoulder gets pulled out at times when there is weakness. And also you can go for an xray to check for the shoulder anatomical position so there we can rule out whether there is mild dislocation of the shoulder.

Whether papaya extract is really a recommended treatment for dengue, or just a gimmick?
The patient are also treated with natural home remedies such as papaya leaves, kiwi that have been proven to help in the increase of platelet count. Platelet transfusion might be required in severe cases, the juice could be an option for dengue patients who don't suffer a drastic fall in platelets. Hope this answer helps you.

Don't take stress, neck pain in your condition is due to poor posture at time of studies. It is nothing surgical. Proper ergonomic measures will relieve your neck pain and also prevent it. 1) Take rest for 1-2 days. 2) Simple analgesics like paracetamol or Ibuprofen to relieve pain 3) Application of ice pack helps in new onset neck pain. 4) Massage locally with analgesic cream 5) Perform neck stretches and muscle strengthening exercises once pain is decreased. 6) Follow good posture habits to avoid further increase in neck pain. Proper ergonomic measures to be taken while studying: 1. Study in a well lit area with good lighting. 2. Use a chair with proper back support. If needed a small back support pillow can be placed behind. 3. Feet should rest flat on floor. Knees and thighs should be on same level when seated on chair. 4. Elbows and forearm should rest on arm rest of chair. 5. Book should be at comfortable reading distance so that slouching of shoulder or bending of neck is avoided. 6. Every hour between studies take a break and walk, perform back and limb muscle stretches.Focus eyes on distant objects during breaks. Consult your doctor immediately in following cases: 1) Neck pain is persistent and progressive 2) Neck pain associated with tingling or numbness in hands or shoulder. Consult again for further queries.

Diabetes - Understanding The Relation Between Visceral Fat and Blood Sugar levels!

Diabetes - Understanding The Relation Between Visceral Fat and Blood Sugar levels!

Diabetes, the new-age disease, has assumed the name of a modern epidemic. With changes in foods and physical activity being the main drivers of its increased incidence. The age of onset is lowering, the severity of the disease is increasing, complications are becoming severe. It is assuming dangerous proportions. People with diabetes are constantly on the watch before eating anything.

How does diabetes happen? There are two sides to it.
The body needs energy for every single activity that it does from moving a finger to smiling. The food that we eat contains sugar and is the main source of this energy. As the amount of food provided increases, there is more amount of energy (sugar) than required. The body converts this to fat and stores it as visceral fat

Insulin is a hormone produced by the pancreas, which sends signals to the body to absorb the blood sugar from the bloodstream. Two things can happen there could be less insulin produced, so there is more sugar in the blood. Secondly, there could be what is known as insulin resistance, where the tissues do not recognise insulin and do not absorb the sugar for storage. In both cases, the blood sugar levels go up, leading to increased incidence of diabetes. On the other hand, the extra sugar that is absorbed is converted into fat by the body and stored. The visceral fat, which is fat in the subcutaneous layers of the skin, is all the extra sugar that is consumed.

Vicious cycle:

  1. More sugar consumed, leads to more blood sugars
  2. More sugar consumed, leads to more visceral fat, as the body only requires so much energy for regular activities
  3. When engaged in physical exercise, this visceral fat accumulation is reduced, as more energy is required for exercise
  4. With reduced exercise, the result is increased visceral fat and higher sugar levels
  5. Insulin resistance adds to this effect of higher sugar levels
  6. With processed/packed/refined foods being consumed widely, the amount of visceral fat is on the rise. They also lead to insulin resistance.
  7. So, while on one hand, the direct sugar levels are high, on the other, the body’s natural response to control sugar is also impaired
  8. To manage both, a three-pronged approach is essential – reduce refined foods, improve fiber intake, and improve exercise
  9. A diet rich in whole fiber does not lead to as much sugar level increase or fat formation
  10. A diet rich in whole grains, vegetables, dairy, and fat is preferable to beat this cycle along with an active exercise regime
  11. Monitoring sugar levels and insulin resistance is a must until they are brought under control. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Cardiologist.

Mai lagbhag 2.5 year se Scalp Psoriasis (kuch bhag chest, Thigh par) se pirit hu, maine kai Allipathy, Ayurved doctor...
Scalp psoriasis is a common skin disorder that makes raised, reddish, often scaly patches. It can pop up as a single patch or several, and can even affect your entire scalp. It can also spread to your forehead, the back of your neck, or behind your ears. Psoriasis is thought to be an immune system problem. Triggers include infections, stress and cold. Treatment aims to remove scales and stop skin cells from growing so quickly. Topical ointments, light therapy and medication can offer relief. Mix the oil/aloe vera with the essential oil. Massage the mixture into your scalp as best you can. If you have long hair, tie it up loosely in a bun and let the treatment soak into your scalp for 30-60 minutes. Shampoo your hair with a gentle aloe very shampoo and follow with an aloe vera conditioner.
