If this is the spinal degenerative disease affected the nerve system then such symptoms are likely and this need to be managed accordingly to the nerve pathology and most of the time it requires surgery

Morning stiffness is quite a common condition. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Any way take caldikind plus (mankind) 1tab odx10days paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days do back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You are quite young and if your problem is only mild to moderate backache with no other symptoms like leg pain, numbness, weakness or paresthesias in legs, thn I will advise you: to maintain proper posture while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - hot fomentation can be done at home with bottle or diathermy belts - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc but if your symptoms are not improving after 6-8 weeks of proper structured conservative management, then it is advisable to get investigations done so that we can see your spine. There are many conditions that can cause knee pain. - ice is useful for the control of pain and swelling. It can be applied to the knee for 15 to 20 minutes as often as every two to four hours. The swollen knee should be elevated above the level of the heart while icing. -activities that cause pain should be avoided temporarily. -if the knee is swollen or sore, the following positions and activities should be avoided until knee pain and swelling resolve: squatting kneeling twisting and pivoting jogging aerobics, dancing playing sport you need detail assessment with a physiotherapist to find out what causing you this pain. I am declared medically unfit for mild cubitus valgus in my NDA medicals. Suggest me exercises to decrease it by a degree or so.

There are many functional factors and perpetuating conditions that can produce and exacerbate a condition of Cubitus Valgus there may be a deformity of the elbow joint that needs to be corrected surgically; only your examining physician will have a clue. If there is a joint or connective tissue lesion or deformity, it will probably need to be surgically repaired. Also, there are also other neuromyofascial considerations that may be affecting your condition, such as active trigger points in lateral triceps, brachioradialis, and pronator teres, that can produce the posture and functional weakness of cubitus valgus: If these muscles have even a latent (non-painful, but ROM limiting) trigger point, they can be easily released non-surgically, with function and comfort restored through rehabilitation protocol for these muscles. You ask about possible lifestyle changes to help with your condition, but this is exactly the sort of question that I (or anyone online) can't answer: it needs a full history and in-person examination. Per your question, I don't know your occupation, past medical history, medications, hobbies, and about a hundred other details.

Earlier I used to go to gym, and later when I continued for 6-7 months, certain sound used to hear from my shoulders. Just I can hear it my self. Like cracking sounds. Should I stop going to gym? There is no pain and all.

If you’re not properly warmed up and hear a crack on the first couple of repetitions, sometimes that’s gas released from the joint, an action called a cavitation, similar to when knuckles are cracked. Resistance exercises can release gas from the shoulder. Don’t worry about this; continue your technique. If you’re doing reps and you hear a cracking/snapping on every rep, usually a muscle is tight, rubbing and causing friction around the bone. In that situation, stretch first, resume the same technique, and the snapping should decrease or be almost non-existent.

Hi, If the pain killers are giving temporary relief and the problem is recurring again. then please do the investigations like X-ray of neck or CT scan of the spine to know the cause of the recurrent pain. It is easier to treat after definite diagnosis.

I have been facing continuous nerve problem for past 1 month. When I was in office suddenly my leg and thing started to numb so I got anxiety then my entire body went numb. Then I met doctor they did blood test and said I am having less Vitamin D (7 IU) and B12 (146 IU. So I started to take tablets but when ever I sleep my both hand fingers goes numb and my left leg also goes numb after some days now I got digestion and gastro also. My back neck and shoulder also paining. Does vitamin deficiency cause this much problem (Vit D- 7 iu and B12- 146) Day by day my problems also increasing. I have met 3 doctors even Did whole spin scan doctors said I have nothing other than vitamin deficiency and anxiety. They are asking me to just give movement in leg and hand which I can do well but still I feel more weak in my muscle. Last two days I also started to feel all day faint. My doubt is if I do not have any problem in spin, is it related to any other viral infection or any other desire how should I find cause of my condition please give me any suggestion (Note: In last 6 month I had around 3 time same kind of feel in my left hand only, which goes numb while I sleep but now it is more)

Hi, hope your doing good, see you should do knee strength in exercise because of weakness of muscle in and around joint, no need to worry about it, try to do cycling and squats and take help of physiotherapist and learn all exercise. Take care and be happy always.

Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Avoid sitting Cross legged. Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports Taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area Contrast Fomentation (Hot and Cold).
