Hi, The meaning of Spermatorrhea is the flow of semen with urine. In such cases, semen passes either while passing urine or while passing stool when straining due to constipation. In few cases, the semen passes even before urination or also mixed with urine. Management: Regular exercising keeps you fit and healthy, so don't forget to do it. Practice pranayam regularly for half an hour preferably in a garden early in the morning. Not to do these exercises within 4 hours after meals. One can have meals not within 15 minutes after finishing these exercises. These exercises are good for gaining and maintaining good health. Also, practice Pelvic floor exercise or Kegel exercise, consists of repeatedly contracting and relaxing the muscles that form part of the pelvic floor. It makes the muscles of pelvis toned and strengthened! In order to locate your pelvic muscles try to stop and begin the flow of urine as using the bathroom. You can perform Kegel exercises with the empty bladder as exercising pelvic muscle with the full bladder might result in urinary tract infections. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine – Selenium 30/ 3 times a day for 1month. Revert.

Sir, I suffer with 8mm stone in lower calyex kidney from 1week. What can l do sir.

Felllow in Endourology, MCh Urology, MRCS, MS, MBBS
Urologist,
Sir, I suffer with 8mm stone in lower calyex kidney from 1week. What can l do sir.
Hi, since it is a single stone, you can try medical management for 3 months and reassess stone size on ultrasound. If the size decreases, then you can continue medical management. If the stone is not dissolving, eswl (lithotripsy) or flexible ureteroscopy with laser are the best treatment options. 1. Eswl: a) advantages: no anesthesia; no blood loss; no cut or suturing b) disadvantages: does not break all stones (70% clearance); may need multiple sessions; fragments may block the ureter and cause pain/need ureteroscopy 2. Flexible ureteroscopy with laser/retrograde intra renal surgery (rirs): a) advantages: complete clearance for all types of stones; no cut or blood loss b) disadvantage: needs anesthesia. Since you are young, it is better to get 24 hour urine metabolic work up for kidney stones. This will tell you if you have any increased excretion of salts like calcium, uric acid, oxalate etc in urine. Based on that result, we can change diet and or take medications to prevent recurrence of stone. Wish you a good health.

I have kidney stone. what should I do.?

Advanced Aesthetics
Ayurveda,
I have kidney stone. what should I do.?
Kidney stones are a very common health problem. They form from the chemicals in urine, such as uric acid, phosphorous, calcium and oxalic acid. Other common causes of kidney stones are excessive consumption of vitamin d, a mineral imbalance, dehydration, gout and an improper diet irrespective of the size of the kidney stones, they can cause severe pain. Other symptoms include a desire to urinate frequently, painful urination, nausea, vomiting and excessive sweating. In addition to conventional medications, a majority of cases can be treated with the help of natural ingredients as well. Many of them also will help prevent stones from developing in the future. Nettle leaf the nettle leaf helps maintain the flow of water through the kidneys and bladder, thus promoting smooth urination. At the same time, nettle leaf helps keep crystals from forming into stones and keeps bacteria away. Nettle tea will also enhance the benefits of water by acting as a natural diuretic. 1. Add two teaspoons of dried nettle leaf to a cup of hot water. 2. Let it steep for 10 minutes and then strain it. Drink two to three cups of nettle tea daily for several weeks wheatgrass wheatgrass juice is highly effective in treating kidney stones and other kidney diseases naturally. You can also have a glass of wheatgrass juice mixed with one teaspoon each of lemon juice and juice extracted from basil leaves take it two to three times a day. Wheatgrass juice is a good source of magnesium, potassium, iron, amino acids, chlorophyll, and b vitamins. A proper diet is essential in keeping the kidney healthy and prevent formation of kidney stones. Drinking plenty of water and other fluids or liquids daily will help prevent most types of kidney stones. Consuming too much of calcium rich foods such as spinach, beet, cauliflower, carrots, almonds, sweet breads, coconut, turnip, bengal gram, peas, whole-wheat flour and organ meats like liver and kidney can lead to kidney stones. One should also know to choose a diet that is low in salt and animal proteins. Hi, Mr. Lybrate-user the reports show you have slight liver dysfunction. You have not mentioned serum creatinine values and what is duration of transplant. Such situation can arise if you have infection of hepatotropic viruses or any side effect of medicines. This will need a detailed evalutaion.

The Ideal Diet after a Kidney Transplant

A kidney transplant is a surgical procedure where your kidneys are cleansed and rebuild using the kidneys of a deceased person, in order to flush out the excessive waste fluids from the kidneys. It is of paramount importance and your dietary patterns and lifestyle should be altered after you go through a kidney transplant. Your dietician will help you out by preparing your diet chart to clearly list out the foods that you should consume and those which you should avoid after the surgery. The diet chart that would be prepared for you would be highly subjective and it would totally depend on your lifestyle, medical history, family health records, genetically transmitted conditions and such others. Apart from improving the condition of your kidney and assisting your transplant, the diet chart will also help you to lose weight, boost your metabolism and enhance your immune system. Some of the most common recommendations that your dietician may give you are as follows:

  • Eating at least 5 full servings of fresh fruits and vegetables each day as both are an important part of a healthy diet for a person who has just undergone a kidney transplant. The vegetables should mostly be eaten after cooking/boiling as per the suggestions of your dietician.
  • Having enough of fiber rich foods in your daily diet is essential as it speeds up the process of digestion and prevents constipation by promoting frequent and easy bowel movements.
  • If you are a non-vegetarian, then you should be going for lean meat alternatives which are low on fat and high on nutritional value. Examples of such meat are fishes and poultry. Additionally, you should also avoid all kinds of red meat as it is high on fat.
  • Consume low-fat milk and dairy products as they help to prevent the fat accumulation inside the body and also maintain an acceptable level of calcium and phosphorus inside your body.
  • Maintain a low level of iodized salt in your meals, as it helps to keep your blood pressure under control.
  • Over the counter health supplements like vitamins and proteins can also be taken, if recommended by your dietician.

That suggests you are having obstruction. Start taking 2-3 litres of water daily, cap urimax 0. 4mg daily. If ultrasound shows obstruction get the stone removed.
