Do contrast bath therapy Take hot water in one bowl & cold in another bowl. First dip your hand in hot water for 3min then immediately in cold water for 1min, keep repeating for 20min, twice daily While your hand is in water keep moving your fingers actively While doing work take rest breaks of 5-10min in between, do not overexert Do hand & fingers stretches

Contrast bath---It is a form of treatment where a limb or the entire body is immersed in warm water followed by the immediate immersion of the limb or body in ice water. This procedure is repeated several times, alternating hot and cold. Note that the treatment should always end in the ice water, as heat will induce the body's inflammatory response, while cold helps to decrease inflammation.

Hello,you can take homoeopathic medicines 1.Calc Fluor 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week. 2.Rhus Tox 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week and update. Keep a gap of 15-20 minutes in both the medicines.

: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise. Ankle stretch calves get a custom made insole. Hams stretching. Sports taping. Hot fomentation.

I advice you to wear a knee cap while running. Before going for running do proper warm up and do stretching which will help you to relieve pain and will help to improve the blood circulation .after running do colling down .if pain is their you can keep ice also.

I had a surgery for slip disk C5 C6 it was almost 90% pressure on spinal cord the slip disc was from front of the vertebral column. My surgery is done near the neck right side. Hi lybrate-user here are some tips for how to handle your back pain: -stop normal physical activity for the first few days. This will help relieve your symptoms and reduce any swelling in the area of the pain. -apply heat or ice to the painful area. One good method is to use ice for the first 48 to 72 hours, and then use heat. Take pain relievers medicine. --while sleeping, try lying in a curled-up, fetal position with a pillow between your legs. If you usually sleep on your back, place a pillow or rolled towel under your knees to relieve pressure. -do not perform activities that involve heavy lifting or twisting of your back for the first 6 weeks after the pain begins. -avoid bending forward and sitting in a place for long time -stretching and strengthening exercises are important. But, starting these exercises too soon after an injury can make your pain worse. -some physiotherapy treatment like ift current can give you some relief. -a physical therapist can tell you when to begin stretching and strengthening exercises and how to do them. Take care.

Please do the following for your condition: 1. Cold Compress -- Applying cold compresses to the painful knee is one of the best and easiest ways to reduce pain and swelling. The cold will constrict the blood vessels, reducing blood flow to the affected area and thus reducing swelling. It will also give you relief from the pain. 1. Wrap a handful of ice cubes in a thin towel. 2. Apply the compress to the affected knee area for 10 to 20 minutes. 3. Do this two or three time daily until your pain is gone. Take Mag phos 6x – 4 tabs twice daily for next 10 days. Continue treatment

Check the posture while sleeping and sitting, take precautions while lifting and manual handling, Avoid cold drinks in the night like cold juices or milk shakes. Take Ginger tea in the night and apply warm oil in your joints once daily followed by hot fomentation. Do gentle stretching exercises to strengthen your muscles.
