I have pain in my back from last few months ago. Not getting cure by tablets and pain killer ointments. In this case what should I do for better?

Back pain can result from bad posture, a sudden jerky movement, a lumpy mattress or poor lifting techniques. It can also be caused by injury in a work place, by a sports accident or by muscular spasms. It because of decreased flexibility, as people get older. There are also many diseases and pathological conditions that can lead to back pain. These include abdominal or pelvic disease, anxiety, arthritis, cervical or lumbar spondylosis, dermatological problems, kidney disease, rheumatic conditions, tumours and scoliosis. Our modern, sedentary lifestyles have a profound effect on the development of back pain; indeed one of the most effective ways of preventing it is simply to stay active. An average adult in the India spends at least two hours a day in front of a computer screen or television set, and back problems can be triggered if they don’t sit properly. In an age of mobile phones and computer games, such troubles are increasingly inflicting children of school age as well. Top tips for back care: For back pain, better to see your Doctor sooner than later. Take regular exercise – your Doctor can say what’s right for you. Hours in one position can cause problems – avoid computer ‘hump’. During repetitive tasks, vary your rhythm and take frequent breaks. Adjust car seats and on long journeys, take regular breaks to stretch. Pace yourself with heavy work such as gardening – don’t risk a disc! Watch children’s posture – they shouldn’t carry bags on one shoulder or spend too long at a computer without breaks. Avoid strain when lifting, particularly small children and shopping. Your bed could be part of the problem. Seek Doctor advice on choosing a new one. Take a hot bath or shower, soaking in a hot tub, or using a heating pad, hot water bottle, or heat wrap that provides continuous, low-level heat are all ways to bring healing warmth to your lower back.

I have been working as a software engineer for the last three years and thus have a continuous sitting job. As a result of which I have developed severe lower back and neck pain, the pain is also accompanied by numbness in both the hands. Since the last two years I have been moving to and fro with doctors each having his different theory. Vitamin D deficiency, nerve compression, chronic fatigue syndrome are the different reasons which doctors have suggested. I have been taking Vitamin D supplements, medicines to heal nerve pain and doing meditation sincerely for the last two years but nothing has helped. Please advise some solution. I am 25 years old and feel pitiful of myself because of these issues.

Ok symptoms are like cs according your age it may be deficiency of bit d and calcium levels but your job is long sitting its also a cause so defined it tk a x-ray of cervical. Avoid long sitting and toward bending of spine. At time tk physiotherapy treatment for relief and reduce numbness this is due to overstrain of muscle tk muscle relaxant medicine firstly do that it will help you.

At the bottom of my legs just above the ankle and upto the knee, when I press my leg near the bone it hurts very much and problem is in both legs, everything is normal and I don't have any pain but even slight pressing is hurting me, what can be the cause and cure, please help, it's been 6 months since I am observing this problem.

Hi apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day.

I have joints pain on my left leg since 6 months and in using just pain killer and dolo 650 but its not effective pls suggest me some good tablets which helps me.

Hello. We can't reverse the established pathology back, but we can control the process in the stage it is so that it wouldn't grow further. Apply Bakson’s Rheum Aid oil gently (2-3 times a day) and take orally Bakson’s Rheum-Aid syrup/ 1 tablespoon thrice daily. Also, increase your dietary intake of calcium which is present in green leafy vegetables, milk, milk products, sea food, white legumes, dried fig, black-eyed peas, almonds, oranges, seasame seeds. And vitamin D which is essential for absorption of calcium in our body and is synthesized naturally after getting exposed to sunlight, so early morning sunlight for 10-15min. 2-3 times a day is mandatory. Apart from this, do walk daily along with physiotherapy will also help you.

What is hallas velgas - deformity of toe of foot. 15 degree angle , painful. Flat foot. What is cure?

Hallux valgus is deviation of great toe of foot laterally. Flat foot is a common associated deformity. Do toe stretches, toe curls- place a towel on floor & pull towel with toes, walk on sand & use hallux valgus splints for proper positioning. If it is a mild case wear plastic foam wedge between great toe & second toe to reduce deformity.

I am having ankle pain for the last 6 months mostly on my left foot. It increases after I get up from sleep. But when I do something reduces. Actually the pain increases after my foot gets rest. One thing I want to inform that once I saw a article based on ankle problem. And if I am not wrong they specified my problem as" Calcaneal Spur"

When you take rest the supply of blood in the heel is reduced so when you move from the position of rest to standing the area hurts, once the supply of blood is restored the pain goes away. The issue is because of stress of your plantar fascia. This if not cured can lead to a calcium deposit which looks like a bonny outgrowth called calcaneal spur. The exact line of treatment can be determined only after a physical examination. I suggest you 1. Apply cold pack on the heal and the surrounding areas 2-3 times a day 2. Do stretching exercise for calf and ankle. 3. Have you gained weight off late? 4. If the pain does not go with cold pack and exercise or keeps reoccurring then you should consider using an orthotic in your foot wear. I deal with plantar fasciitis/calcaneal spur patients every day so feel free to ask any question you have on this subject.

I went to a cycling rally of 25 kms. After that I got right hand arm sore. My hand started ti feel very weak. I couldn't write or work on my laptop. It's been 2 weeks and slowly recovering. Is it normal?

I have a continuous pain in the right lower limb, even unable to walk, that portion is hot. Doctor gave me gentamycin, I got relief, but after some month it started again. In the X- ray nothing was found, now doctor is saying for color doppler, some problem in blod vessels.
