Hi I am 23 years old male I was diagnosed with ulcerate colitis 5 years ago I used a lot of medication but nothing seems to work until I start taking corticostéroïde, my condition was stable when I was taken 20 mg but my doctor tel me that it has bad side effects for the long run so he put me on imuran azathioprine I take 2 pile 50 mg morning and 50 mg evening but when I start to reduce my corticostéroïde I start to fell my symptoms coming back (bloody stool, diarrhea.) it been 3 months that I am using imuran and I am reducing the dosage of corticalïde along the way now I am on imuran solely but I think I need to increase the dosage or something because I feel just when I wasn't taking corticostéroïdes so what do you recommend that I do?

Hello, I am 23 years old, at the age of 10 I was diagnosed with sa type sickle cell, and because of low immune system at that time, I was also suffered from jaundice and chicken gunya. Then I had proper treatment now i'm well but i'm still eating folvite table.
2. Then, when I turned 17, my tsh level was 0.03% and I had hyperthyroid problem and I went through a surgery in 2014.
3. Because of thyroid, now i, m having pcod, now hormones are under control, i'm taking proper diet, sleep and I do daily exercise.
4.because of all of this problems is there any possibilities of other problems in future or in my pregnancy duration
5.what are the precautions I have to take?
6.also because of this I got tired very easily.

Hello sir/madam. I got jaundice total bilirubin is 27 mg/dl in november. I have liver problem also. I drink alcohol daily heavily from 2 years. Before also I used to drink. I got fatty liver .so I stop drinking alcohol for 5 years again I started from 2 years .last time when I did blood test on february 5th. Total bilirubin is 5.6 mg/dl. Direct bilirubin is 1.6 mg/dl.
I did endoscopy on november. It says (1) oesophagus - gr I oesophageal varices. (2) stomach - portal hypertensive gastropathy food residue+.
(3) duodenum cap - normal (4) 2nd part - normal impression - gr I oesophageal varices portal hypertensive gastropathy. I lost my weight (26 kg) and became skinny. Note- I stop drinking alcohol now from november. My question are (1) how is my health conditions .(2) what food I can eat and what not to eat.(3) how can I get strength&muscles back in body.(4) can I do gym.(5) any medicine you prefer (6) how is my liver condition anything serious (please tell openly). (7) mainly I feel stress thinking about my health. No doctor is giving proper answer for my questions. Can anyone help me out.

I have a 32 year old male friend who was diagnosed with acute liver cirrhosis. He has a history of drinking. He has currently lost a lot of weight and has edema of the abdomen and extreme weakness. He is currently on pironolacton 1*1, lasix 1*1 and thiamine 1*1
is there any better treatment option I can have to save him? Can he be saved without a liver transplant? Is it too late? How better can I manage this condition to slow down progress and increase his longevity
