I am 55 years old. Now I find climbing up the stairs and climbing down the problem I get stuck up sometimes and get nervous too on the roads etc. What shall I do? shall I come and visit you? tell you my problems.

This could be due to oa knee &/or obesity. X rays of both knee joints (digital) physiotherapy along with medicines will help. Do knee exercises. It may have to be further investigated rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with a soft bedding on it. Any way take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days caldikid plus (mankind) 1 tab odx10days you will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Don't ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

I assume you are talking about muscle cramps in your calf muscles. You can start taking Vit E tab (like Tab Evion LC), once daily (for a month minimum), along with a pain-killer tablet which suits you. I can advise you Tab Voveron SR 75 mg twice daily after food, along with Tab Pan 40 once daily before breakfast (both to be taken for 3-4 days). Along with these medication you can start exercises in form of calf muscle streching and knee and ankle movement exercises (or can consult a physiotherapists). I am 68 years male. I have problem of bending my left knee fully especially after walking. I also get pain when I stand for long duration. I regulalry walk 4 to 5 kms and also swim. What can be done for my knees?

Good evening. Well it looks like an early start of osteoarthritis. You should get an x ray done to see the aligntment and the joint space of the knee joint. Try working on your quadriceps muscles as well.

Hello sir, so many causes for back pain so need a full history and clinical evolution is must. Without proper diagnosis can't treat fully, so consult physiotherapist if possible. Apply the hot water or ice fermentation 3-4 times daily. Mild stretch back and leg muscles. Avoid the long time standing. Avoid forward bending. Learn proper posture.

I started morning walk for 20 mins in morning to reduce weight but m unable to walk as much as I want as my legs pain a lot d front part below knee. Please advise me wat I can do for dis as I want to loose weight as fast as I can.

You might be suffering from shin splints. After jogging or running (specially for beginners) the muscles and flesh along the edge of the shin bone become inflamed, so it hurts to walk, run, or jump. Jogging on hard surfaces can bring this on. You are more likely to get shin splints if you have flat feet or your feet turn outward. Some tips to deal with this condition : 1.Rest your legs, do not jog when in pain. 2. Ice pack application. 3. Anti-inflammatory medicines such as ibuprofen. 4. Stretching and warm up to be done before jogging or running. 5. Gradual and step wise increase in physical activity. If problem persists consult again.

I have a pain in my left side lower back and left leg. And there is nothing wrong in x-ray what's tge reason of pain.

I'm 45 year old since one month I have pricking pain, burning sensation on the tip of the fingers of the left hand. The pain start from the forefinger and gradually shift from finger to fingers but it is not a continuous pain. What is the reason for it and what are the home remedies for it.

Hand exercise dear you can do it easly. 1, Pinch Strengthener This exercise helps strengthen the muscles of your fingers and thumb. It can help you turn keys, open food packages, and use the gas pump more easily. •Pinch a soft foam ball or some putty between the tips of your fingers and your thumb. •Hold for 30 to 60 seconds. •Repeat 10 to 15 times on both hands. Do this exercise two to three times a week, but rest your hands for 48 hours in between sessions. Don't do this exercise if your thumb joint is damage Finger Lift Use this exercise to help increase the range of motion and flexibility in your fingers. •Place your hand flat, palm down, on a table or other surface. •Gently lift one finger at a time off of the table and then lower it. •You can also lift all your fingers and thumb at once, and then lower. •Repeat eight to 12 times on each han Thumb Extension Strengthening the muscles of your thumbs can help you grab and lift heavy things like cans and bottles. •Put your hand flat on a table. Wrap a rubber band around your hand at the base of your finger joints. •Gently move your thumb away from your fingers as far as you can. •Hold for 30 to 60 seconds and release. •Repeat 10 to 15 times with both hands. You can do this exercise two to three times a week, but rest your hands for 48 hours in between sessions. Thumb Touch This exercise helps increase the range of motion in your thumbs, which helps with activities like picking up your toothbrush, fork and spoon, and pens when you write. •Hold your hand out in front of you, with your wrist straight. •Gently touch your thumb to each of your four fingertips, one at a time, making the shape of an" O. •Hold each stretch for 30 to 60 seconds. I am 17 years old. And my right leg upper back is paining from 1 week and it pains a little only when I walk.

1. Masturbation is a normal way of relieving sexual tension. 2. It is, not harmful if done in moderation, preferably 2-3 times a week. 3. Excess indulgence may cause physical problem like weakness, tiredness, loss of memory, lack of energy, lack of concentration, behavioural disorder, stress, depression, and sexual problem like erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, testicular pain, decrease sperm count. You should immediately visit a local Doctor and have a physical check-up as pedal edema could be several reasons that needs to be corrected. Dear lybrate-user it can be due to infection/inflammation/increased s. Uric acid or vit. D deficiency. Pls get yourself examined. In meantime apply hot & cold application on affected joints. Perform simple/gentle stretching & range of movement ex's withing limits of pain.
