To prevent pimples, eat fresh fruits, green vegetables, drinking plenty of water should be an essential part of your routine and intake of oily fried foods, an excess of sugar-salt should be avoided. Don't peal pimples, as they tend to leave scars. Simple honey mask before applying this mask, rinse your face with warm water to open up pores. Then apply honey and leave it on the skin for 30 minutes. Rinse the honey off with warm water; then rinse again with cold water to close the pores. Yeast and yogurt mask for oily skin oily skin is prone to acne, and this home remedy can reduce excess oil and help clear acne. To make the mask, combine 1 teaspoon of brewer's yeast with a little plain yogurt to create a thin mixture. Apply it thoroughly to all the oily areas and leave on for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water; then use cold water to close the pores. For permanent cure you need constitutional medicines, for that I need detailed case history.

Wash the affected skin two to three times a day. Keep the affected area dry. Avoid excess affected skin irritation by wearing 100% cotton underwear. Avoid fabric softeners, bleaches, or harsh laundry detergents. Wash your workout clothes, underwear, socks, and towels after each use. Keep your affected area, inner thighs, and buttocks clean and dry, especially after you exercise and shower. After showering or bathing, dry the irritated affected area by gently patting it with a towel. Be sure to dry your skin thoroughly. Mix two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in two cups of warm water. Wash the infected area with this solution and allow it to dry on its own. Another option is to apply a mixture of equal parts of white vinegar and coconut oil on the affected skin. Like hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol can help kill off the fungus that's on the surface level of the skin. You can apply it directly to the affected area listerine: it has antiseptic, antifungal and antibacterial properties, which help treat skin problem.

You can apply aloe vera juice/gel from its leaf (fresh), not from ready made gels available in market. Remove skin of an aloe vera leaf. Take /scoop out gel. Apply this gel to your skin. Wash with plain water after an hour. Or keep it overnight. Use some sunblock with spf (at least 50) every time you go out in sun. Apply it 30 mins before going out use umbrella when going in sun. Drink plenty of fluids.Don’t be stressed. You need proper constitutional med to get permanent relief. Ask for consultation so that I can help you better.

Want A Smooth And Flawless Skin?

Want A Smooth And Flawless Skin?

All of us want to have smooth, flawless, soft, spotless, fair, skin and today I am going to give you some fantastic tips to take good care of your skin.

70% of our body is made up of skin and hence it is necessary for you to take proper care of your skin.

Your skin needs nourishment and it comes from food, so eat skin friendly foodstuff like yoghurt, green tea, kiwi, dark chocolate (I am not kidding, it is true), berries, salmon, almonds, carrots, tomato, etc.

You are what you eat and you look what you eat, so if you eat unwanted food, junk food, then you will tend to look fat and you will have a lot of pimples as pimples are a sign of eating wrong, oily and unhealthy food.

If you want to take good and proper care of your skin, then first you ought to find out your skin type. There are four skin types’ namely normal skin, oily skin, dry skin and combination skin.

If your skin looks lifeless, then you have dry skin. Dry skin lacks hydration and moisture; to help your skin look lively and beautiful, apply moisturizer daily at night.

If you sweat a lot, your skin looks greasy, you have a lot of pimples and there are patches on your pillow, then you have oily skin. Most of the people with oily skin tend to have blackheads, pimples, acne, etc.

As the skin is oily, dust tends to settle on it; hence, you have to wash your face frequently.

When your skin looks neither dry nor oily, then you have normal skin. One with a normal skin doesn’t face many problems, but then too use a moisturizer and a scrub daily.

Combination skin means you have a combination of both, oily skin and dry skin. Some patches of your skin may look dry and some may look oily.

If you have combination skin then you have to tend to each area carefully. It is better to consult a dermatologist if you have frequent outbreaks of acne on the oily part of your skin.

Hence, you need to take care of your skin according to its type. If don’t then it will only cause more damage to your skin.

No matter what the skin type, apply sunscreen before you go out in the sun, wash your face frequently and use a moisturizer and a face wash daily.

Dermabrasion - Why It Is Required?

Dermabrasion - Why It Is Required?

Dermabrasion is a procedure where a brush made up of wire or a rough-edged diamond wheel is used on the skin to remove the upper layer from the skin. The rotation of the brush causes the upper layer of the skin to come off and may cause bleeding. The skin that comes off is replaced with new skin.

Why it is done?

1. The procedure may be used to treat various surgical scars.
2. Usually, this procedure is used to get rid of acne scars.
3. The procedure is used to treat various superficial growths that occur on the skin such as small cysts.
4. It may also be used to treat wrinkles around the mouth.

Procedure

The area where the procedure is carried out is marked and then cleaned properly. Local anesthetics are used to numb the skin followed by the application of ice pack for about half an hour. If the preceding procedures do not harden the skin enough, then a freezing spray may be used to firm up the skin. Gauze may be used to restrict the bleeding which results from the procedure. The area is then cleaned and ointment is applied.

Post-surgery

The depth and size of the procedure determine how much time the recovery process will take. For example - a small patch of skin will take little time to heal compared to full face dermabrasion. It usually takes 6-7 days for the skin to regrow, which is pink in colour. The colour tends to fade away in 2-3 months. Usually, patients do not suffer from pain, but if you do have some pain then you can take pain relievers. Corticosteroids may be used to treat swellings, if any.

You need to follow certain precautionary measures after the surgery -

1. Regular cleaning of the skin to avoid various infections of the skin.
2. Regular changing of the dressing and the ointment to speed up the healing process.
3. Sun exposure needs to be avoided as the new skin is prone to damage. You may use sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun's rays.

Hello Mr. lybrate-user, it is important while you are having a particular diet for increasing your weight you should include foods that are easy to digest as well as complex food. Thus it only wise to consult an qualified dietitian who can help you improve your health and wellbeing taking into consideration various concerns that you face.

Hello, it is a really interesting question. We all must agree to the fact that ice creams is the most delectable dessert which appeals to the taste buds of millions of people. While having said that we must not forget that it is also one of the most abused desserts as well. Ice creams is loaded with sugar, fat and preservative which gives you that feel good factor basically serotonin high that soothes your soul. But one must not forget that this is very temporary effect followed by low feeling. It is basically loaded with empty calories and preservative affect the flora of your gut causing dysbiosis affecting your overall health. Thus it is wise that while you enough a small cup of ice cream once in 15 days rather then follow you are unhealthy emotionally driven indulgence of food as a substitute for solution.
