Dear lybrate-user you seem to have stage fright nervousness followed by physiological changes such sweating. You can always train yourself step by step. Firstly just stand on a stage when noone is around then once you are comfortable do it when you have your frens around. Then standing on the stage and having normal conversation with your frends and then actually exposing yourself to the situation. Hope it helps.

First thing about exams is anxiety n what causes anxiety would be your unknown fear for it. Lets be clear about what is the reason behind your anxiety. If your preparation is not going well or if you fear of the results or are you just scared of the environment in the exam room. Once you get to know the unlying reason for your anxiety you can also think about what you can do to overcome it. Hope its helpful.

There seems to be a rift between your mother and your wife. Which according has made your mother feel depressed. Firstly when you say she goes into depression thinking about the previous fights means some overthinking is happening the real cause of the problem may be hidden elsewhere. Explain it to her that overthinking is also a problem nothing positive comes from it and ask her to focus to real issues as in like why the fight happened what she can do to avoid such fights and when both the party discusses it with u, you can act as a mediator. Dear Doctor, I would like to know how exactly an anti depressant works? Primarily if the course duration for the medication is for 6 months and after that it needs to be tapered down, I would like to know whether the medicine does the job to permanently restore the chemical imbalance in the brain or it just bring it to normal balance and the person can be subject to another episode during a stressful situation after the course of the medicine. I am asking this as this is a vital information that I am not able to find answers to as I am dealing with a depression affected patient at home and would like to get more education in the background of this treatment and how long is the effect of antidepressants going to stay with the patient. Dear lybrate-user regarding your qwery about depression the medication and brain chemical imbalances. Medicines can be of great help but along with it she needs to get therapies too medicine alone will not solve the problem. Of you have stomach ache will you have pain killers to subside the pain everytime your stomach ache or you go to a Dr. To know the real cause n then the solution for it. It is adviced that you take the person to a clinical psychologist. Hope it helps.

Memory power can be increased with few concentration techniques such as deep breathing excercise for atleast 2 min n the increasing regularly. You can move ahead by relaxing you mind and think of the different kind of sounds you hear when your in a relaxed state. You can increase the amount of time you spend doing this excercise. This helps you in concentration. Hope my suggestion helps you.
