Colorful Veg Rawa idly
2 cup rvaa (suji)
2 cup curd
Salt for taste
1 Capsicum (sharply chopped)
1/2 cup cauliflower (chopped)
1/4 cup green peas
2 green chillis (chopped)
1 inch ginger (chopped)
1 tsp channa dal
1/2 tsp mustard leaves
Whisk the curd and add rawa, Whisk the MIX very well, so that lumps are not formed. Now add water and salt into it along with chopped vegetables, ginger, green chilli and coriander leaves. Leave the side mixture for 15-20 minutes. Now add baking soda into the mixture after 20 minutes and mix well. Pour 2 cup water into the cooker and put it on the heat. Grease the idli stand with little oil and pour the mixture in each blocks. Now place this stand into the cooker. Close the lid of the cooker and the whistle from it. Within 8-10 minutes the idli will get properly steamed from inside. You can easily make 10-12 idli at one time depending on the size of the idli stand. Check the idli with the fork. If it comes out clean then the idli is ready to serve. Take out the stand from the cooker and let it cool down. Take out the idli's from the stand and put them on the plate. Serve the Veg Rawa Idli with chutney
Channa Curry leave chutney
2 to 3 tbsp. Chana Roasted
8 large sprigs of curry leaves
1 small piece of ginger or garlic
¼ tsp. cumin
2 to 3 Red chills or green chilies
Lemon juice or tamarind as wish
Salt as needed
Oil 1 tsp
½ tsp mustard seed
Soak tamarind in little warm water Blend Roasted Chana, Curry leaves, Ginger, Garlic, Cumin powder, Green chilli and Tamarind everything together with enough water. Heat a tsp oil, add mustard seeds when it sputters, pour the seasoning on the chutney. curry leaves chutney is ready to serve.In 5 min you have a tasty low calorie High Protein Chutney ready..

Yummy tehri reinvented
Let's make a conventional tehri in our own style. Let's see how we promote the weight loss after eating healthy and nutritious food.
2nd recipe direct from my kitchen just for you.
Tehri (conventional way)
Rice 1 1⁄2 cup (24 tbs), soaked in water for 30 minutes, drained
Water 3 cup (48 tbs)
Vegetable oil 3 tablespoon
Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon
Salt 1 teaspoon
Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
Peppercorns 1⁄2 teaspoon
Star anise 3
Cinnamon stick 1
Carrot 1, cut up
Green peas 1⁄4 cup (4 tbs)
Cabbage /cauliflower 1⁄2 cup
Onion 1, thinly sliced
1. In a pressure cooker, heat oil, add in the whole spices, cook for 30 seconds. Add onion and saute until the onions turn translucent.
2. Add the other vegetables and rice, stir and cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Pour in water, add salt and turmeric, close the lid and cook for about 5 minutes.
Serving (ideal for two serve).

Who does not like the yummy tasty' tehri. Now lets make it our way. Very healthy, yummy and low calorie. My own version of my favorite tehri right from my own kitchen.
We will use the same ingredient in most healthy and low calorie style, and then check the calorie count of our tehri.
Same ingredients just minus the oil and lessen the carbohydrate of the rice.
1. Boil one cup rice rice, when they are cooked and then drain the excess water. So our simple rice is ready.
2. Take a kadai, it should be heated t the maximum flame, then add onion, tomato, garlic and cook them with no oil. Add in the whole spices with salt, cook for 30 seconds and saute until the onions turn translucent after that add peas, other vegetables like carrot, cauliflower, broccoli.
3. Cook till the vegetables becomes soft, then add the turmeric powder, dhaniya powder, lal mirch and cook for 1 min.
4. After that add little water in the mix and add rice. Cook for 5-7 min and your yummy healthy recipe is ready. Now lets check its nutrific and calorie value.
So now lets check what is the diffrence between boiled and steamed rice.
Boiling means straining the excess water (starch) when the rice becomes soft. Steamed rice refer to the rice which is pressure cooked.
So the difference in calories if we take 100 gram steamed rice the calorie is 150 kcal and in cooked 100 grams boiled rice the calorie is 100 kcal. And the carbohydrate content is also very less in boiled rice. Brown rice can be a more healthier option if you like the taste of brown rice.
Lets see the calorie counts of our tehri.
We have used only one cup rice and taken out the excess starch. Secondly try to use as much vegetables in the rice. Vegetable increases the nutritive value but decreases the calories. We have reduced the calories count by 900 kcal. There is no diffrence in taste but we have added more of vegetables. So your minerals, vitamins and antioxidantteh content is more. What more you can ask for?

I meet many ladies everyday who are fighting with infertility. Some express their Desire to have kids and pain associated with infertility openly and some are shy to share anything. People make allowances for all sorts of grief. Infertility is a loss of staggering proportions. A feeling of being incomplete, A feeling of deep emptiness from Inside ....

even I was thinking How could her personal pain possibly measure up against all the greater tragedies in the world?
I found her eyes becoming wet as she described how she cried rivers over the little boys and little girls who would never have her smile or her husband's eyes. she began to have dreams of stumbling down a difficult forest path leading to a pitch black lake where a child was floating face down in the water. Even she wanted to hug her child and feel the simple pleasure of being a MOM. Even I felt my heart go for her... Becoming a Mother can be the most happy experience of anyone's life.
When I was talking to her I realized that There is nothing trivial about grief over infertility. A person can grieve the loss of their dream of a biological family as honestly and deeply as someone else can grieve the loss of a child or parent or partner or their health.
There is no "at least" when it comes to the breaking of the human heart, there is no need to try to measure one person's pain against another to see who is worthy of feeling grief and who isn't.
If some one from your near and dear ones is fighting with Infertility then assure that they have the emotional and mental support from you. A real guidance and taking the medical help at right time can do wonders. But we all require some amount of sensitivity towards their pain. Rest can be done by doctors and medical professionals . The only thing is Power of Positivity and feeling that someone Understands their pain.
