Why have you given gelusil and antacid for diarrhoea. Dont use medicines irrationally. Your kid needs proper management.

I am sure very 1st time baby would have not demanded cerelac. Do not thrust cerelac on her. Leave her free to choose his diet made in home. She is now 16 months old and able to select or demand what ever she likes.

My daughter 8 yrs old complains of stomach pain more oftenly. However with the intake of ginger, aajwain the symptoms are suppressed.Pl help for the permanent solutions.

MBBS, Diploma in Child Health (DCH), Pediatric Gastroenterology
Pediatrician, Delhi
Chronic abdominal pain should always be evaluated by a competent Pediatrician , preferably a gastroenterologist. These children should be dewormed, frequent handwashing should be instituted and an ultrasound of abdomen is often usefull in making a diagnosis.

This is possetting and not real vomiting and is due to the muscular valve in esophagus not yet strong and will be there till 6 months or even upto one year . Do not give bottle feed . You have to burp well after each breast feed and put him on right side
