People tend to believe that they have sensitive skin when they use certain products that don't suit them and causes some redness, itching, blotches, rashes, etc. However, this is not true. Sensitive skin is actually used to describe a condition when skin develops rashes, skin bumps, erosions, pustules, blotches, redness and so on when exposed to harsh weather conditions such as extreme heat, wind or cold.

There are some common skin ailments for that may harm a sensitive skin; i.e. Acne, rosacea, burning and stinging as well as contact dermatitis or irritants and allergies. Skin can be sensitive on any part of the body, including legs, arms, hands, etc. but it is most noticeable on the face though. The degree of sensitivity varies from person to person. Sensitive skin easily reacts when exposed to sunlight or wind. Also, such a skin is more prone to dryness, itchiness and redness. So, in case you have a sensitive skin you need to be extra cautious with the foods you eat and the products you use.

Precautions to be taken in case of a sensitive skin:

  7. Choose natural and soft fabrics such as silk and cotton for sensitive skin.
  8. Avoid exposing your skin to too hot or cold water .
  9. Avoid using skin care and cosmetic products that have alcohol, harsh exfoliants, petrochemicals, acids, or synthetic fragrances as these can irritate the skin.
  10. While trying a new product make sure to do a trial test on the skin especially on your inner arm or behind your ear.
  11. Use a good broad spectrum sunscreen which is non comedogenic, paraben and fragrance-free.
  12. Try to reduce stress in life by resorting to activities such as meditationyoga, or walking.
  13. Get enough restful sleep to enable your body clock to function normally, which will give you clear skin.

However, if you do have any prolonged, unexplained skin reaction then you should consult dermatologist who might conduct a skin allergy test to identify the root cause of the problem. Finally, limit your alcohol intake.

One ailment that affects a large number of women all over the world is that of breast cysts. Breast cysts are essentially benign abscesses that grow on and around the mammary glands. These cysts primarily develop on account of hormonal changes and are often assumed to develop naturally along with the development of breasts. These cysts are generally filled with fluids which can be traced around the milk ducts.  

Cysts are usually reported among women approaching menopause. While some cysts are of a temporary kind, there may be others with a more prolonged run. 3. Eat healthy
Having a nutritious balanced diet can make a tremendous positive impact on your skin. Consumption of food items that are rich in vitamins, minerals and other nutrients is essential. It is also important to drink lots of water and fluids to stay hydrated. Junk food and sugary drinks should be avoided as it negatively affects skin health.

4. Exercise regularly
Keeping fit through regular workouts and exercise improves the circulation of blood in the body and consequently, the supply of blood and oxygen to the skin. This keeps the skin healthy and young and prevents the early onset of wrinkling and aging.

There are several other ways of preventing skin aging such as not smoking, avoiding using too many products and cosmetics, getting enough sleep, and always keeping skin cleansed and moisturized. मुल्तानी मिट्टी सौंदर्य उद्योग में प्राचीन काल से ही उपयोग की जाने वाली एक प्रमुख घटक है. हर्बल उत्पादों के निर्माता अक्सर त्वचा और बाल उत्पादों में इस प्राकृतिक संघटक का उपयोग करते हैं. मुल्तानी मिट्टी का नाम इसके जन्म स्थल के आधार पर रखा गया है. यह मिट्टी पकिस्तान में स्थिति मुल्तान नामक जगह में पायी जाती है. मुल्तानी मिट्टी में मैग्नीशियम, क्वार्ट्ज, सिलिका, आयरन, कैल्शियम, कैल्साइट और डोलोमाइट जैसे फायदेमंद मिनरल शामिल हैं. यह बाज़ार में आमतौर पर पाउडर के रूप में उपलब्ध है. इसके अलावा, यह सफेद, हरी, नीली, भूरी या जैतून इत्यादि जैसे विभिन्न रंगों में आती है. आइए इस लेख के माध्यम से मुल्तानी मिट्टी के फायदे जानें.

1. घाव का निशान हटाने के लिए-

मुल्तानी मिट्टी घाव के निशान, जलने के छोटे-मोटे निशान या किसी अन्य प्रकार के निशान को बहुत हद तक कम कर सकती है. घाव व जले हुए निशान को अदृश्य करने करने के लिए मुल्तानी मिट्टी, विटामिन ई तेल और नींबू का रस, प्रत्येक का आधा चम्मच अच्छी तरह से मिला लें. इस मिश्रण को निशान पड़े हुए क्षेत्र पर लगा लें. इसे 20 मिनट के लिए लगा कर छोड़ दें और फिर पानी से धो लें.

2. चेहरे की सफाई के लिए फेस पैक-
मुल्तानी मिट्टी एक उत्कृष्ट सफाई एजेंट है जो आपकी त्वचा की रंगत को सुधारने में और निखार लाने में अत्यंत लाभदायक है. अपनी त्वचा की रंगत में सुधार लाने के लिए दो चम्मच मुल्तानी मिट्टी में दही के दो बड़े चम्मच मिलाएं. इस मिश्रण को 30 मिनट के लिए छोड़ दें. इसमें एक चम्मच पुदीना का पाउडर मिलाएँ और अच्छी तरह से मिश्रण को मिक्स कर लें. अपने चेहरे और गर्दन के क्षेत्र पर मिश्रण लगा लें. इसे 20 से 30 मिनट के लिए छोड़ दें और फिर गर्म पानी से धो लें.

3. त्वचा से अतिरिक्त तेल अवशोषित-
मुल्तानी मिट्टी एक प्राकृतिक एब्सोर्बेर होने के कारण, मुल्तानी मिट्टी त्वचा से अतिरिक्त तेल निकालने के लिए उपयोग की जाती है. यह त्वचा के पोर्स को खोलती है और त्वचा के प्राकृतिक पी.एच. स्तर को संतुलित करती है. यह आमतौर पर एक घरेलू फेस पैक के रूप में प्रयोग की जाती है.

4. पैर और हाथ को आराम देने में-
जब आपके हाथ या पैर थके हुए हों या फिर किसी प्रकार की इंजरी हो, तो राहत पाने के लिए मुल्तानी मिट्टी के पेस्ट का उपयोग कर सकते हैं. मुल्तानी मिट्टी रक्त के संचालन को उत्तेजित करती है और कुछ मिनटों में ही थकान से राहत मिल जाती है. रक्त संचालन में वृद्धि ना केवल आपकी थकावट को दूर करता है, बल्कि यह ह्रदय, मांसपेशियों और पूरे शरीर में धमनियों को भी लाभ पहुंचाता है.

5. दो मुहें बालों के उपचार में-
अगर बालों की सही तरह से केयर न की जाए तो वे दोमुंहे हो जाते हैं. मुलतानी मिट्टी को प्राकृतिक शैंपू और कंडीशनर कहा जाता है. दोमुहें बाल होने पर बालों में मुलतानी मिट्टी लगाने से यह समस्‍या दूर होती है और आपके बाल घने और मुलायम भी होते हैं.

6. एक्ने के उपचार में-
यदि आप मुँहासों से परेशान हैं, तो फुलर अर्थ निश्चित रूप से आपकी समस्या को हल कर सकती है. यह बंद पोर्स से मुक्ति पाने में मदद करती है और अतिरिक्त तेल स्राव को कम करती है, जो मुँहासों के दो मुख्य कारण हैं.

7. डैंड्रफ भगाने के लिए-
डैंड्रफ बालों की बड़ी समस्‍या है, अगर इसका समय पर उपचार न किया जाए तो हेयरफाॅल होने लगते हैं. चार चम्‍मच मुलतानी मिट्टी के साथ दो-दो चम्‍मच नींबू का रस और शहद लेकर एक पेस्‍ट बना लीजिए. कुछ सप्‍ताह तक निरंतर नहाने से 20 मिनट पहले इस पेस्‍ट को बालों पर लगाने से डैंड्रफ की समस्‍या से निजात मिल जाती है.

8. त्वचा में लचक के लिए-
उम्र के कारण ढीली होती त्वचा एक सामान्य समस्या है. परंतु आप इसे लेकर चिंतित न हों, नहीं तो आपकी त्वचा की लचक और भी कम हो जायेगी. इस समस्या के हल के लिए आप मुल्तानी मिट्टी पर विश्वास कर सकते हैं. यह आपकी त्वचा की खोयी हुई लचक लाने के साथ-साथ उसे चिकना और टाइट भी बना देती है.
