Dear Lybrate User, It appears to me that you are under lot of stress. I also guess that this has something to do with your family and childhood experiences. You appear to be sad and having low self confidence. Probably you did not get love and appreciation from your near and dear ones when you were growing up. Please seek help from a Counsellor. By talking to a Counsellor you will get more self awareness and you will know what is happening to you. The Counsellor will also help you to be more confident about yourself. When you will feel better about yourself, you social interaction would improve. Your mind is empty probably because there is no purpose left in life, for you. Your poor concentration and weight gain also probably is because of stress. During the process of Counselling, you will learn to relive and manage your stress. All the best.

I am suffering from stomach pain and I have gas problem with tight stomach always what should be done?
Follow these best tips to get relief from stomach pain - *take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. *take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening. * take 1 tea spoon of liv-52 syrup daily one time. * walk for atleast 15-20 minutes daily and avoid long duration continuos sitting. * avoid taking nonveg at night & in day time after taking food, do not sleep in day.

It will take some effort for you to flatten your tummy. I am outlining a 21 day plan for you. If you follow this plan sincerely then you will see a noticeable difference in just 21 days. There are 5 things that you need to do: 1. Eliminate all refined sugars from your diet. This means no sugar in your tea/coffee/milk, no consumption of sugary beverages like coke, pepsi and total elimination of all snacks like biscuits, cakes, sweet dishes. I know it is difficult but remember that you just have to adhere to this for 21 days. If you wish to snack you can have unsalted peanuts, dry fruits, seeds or yogurt. 2. When you get up in the morning, put your pillow aside and lie with your back straight. Put both your legs together and lift them so your legs are at a 30 degree angle with the bed. Maintain this pose of 5 minutes. Keep breathing while your legs are in the air. 3. Eliminate dinner altogether. In place of dinner have a bowl of papaya. You can have a small bowl of yogurt with black salt if you are not able to control your urge. 4. Keep hydrated through out the day. You need to drink at least 10 glasses of water every day. Tea/coffee are not substitutes of water. Minimize consumption of milk. Add raw vegetables to each meal. 5. One 500mg tablet of calcium d-glucarate and one tablet of b-complex every day. If you miss even one of the steps mentioned above during your 21 day regime then you have to start all over again from day 1. Please bear in mind that it takes 21 consecutive days of performing all the above mentioned steps for the stomach muscles to start toning up.

Precaution of dengue- Prevent mosquito bite as it is the only causative factor of dengue, keep your home area clean & dry, use mosquito net, apply mosquito repellent cream on your body, take healthy food, take more liquids, eat fresh fruits, take proper rest, take medicines for fever control. Precaution of Hair loss- Do daily massage over head with medicated oil, Take proper diet, stress free life, keep cows ghee in regular diet, take milk & milk products daily, take seasonable fruits, green vegetables, dry fruits, take proper care of hairs during travelling, take calcium & protein rich food, Japanese encephalitis commonly affects in childrens,& immunity of child age is less, so it is dangerous.

Hello doctor. I am doing gym frm last 3 months all my body is showing good growth but my waist is not increasing. and I have tried lots of excercises for it but nothing happens to it. Hi lybrate-user, It's good that you are regular to your workouts, please do focus on your good protein intake that will help to build your muscles and will help to increase the waistline also. Do consume dry-fruits like soaked almonds, walnuts these will provide good fat to your body. You may add one to two tea spoon of pure ghee per day over your roti and dal. Gingivitis and toothache can be easily treated by homoeopathic medicine but for better results it is advisable to take consultation with more details... to avoid try and error bases... For good sleep, just try out these simple ways - 1. Stick to a sleep schedule- Go to bed and get up at the same time every day. Try to limit the difference in your sleep schedule on weeknights and weekends to no more than one hour. Being consistent reinforces your body's sleep-wake cycle. If you don't fall asleep within about 20 minutes, leave your bedroom and do something relaxing. Read or listen to soothing music. Go back to bed when you're tired. Repeat as needed. 2. Pay attention to what you eat and drink - Don't go to bed hungry or stuffed. In particular, avoid heavy or large meals within a couple of hours of bedtime. Your discomfort might keep you up. Nicotine, caffeine and alcohol deserve caution, too. 3. Create a restful environment - Avoid prolonged use of light-emitting screens just before bedtime. Consider using room-darkening shades, earplugs, a fan or other devices to create an environment that suits your needs. Doing calming activities before bedtime, such as taking a bath or using relaxation techniques, might promote better sleep. 4. Limit daytime naps - Long daytime naps can interfere with nighttime sleep. If you choose to nap, limit yourself to up to 30 minutes and avoid doing so late in the day. 5. Include physical activity in your daily routine - Regular physical activity can promote better sleep 6. Manage worries - Try to resolve your worries or concerns before bedtime. Stress management might help. Start with the basics, such as getting organized, setting priorities and delegating tasks. Meditation also can ease anxiety. Identifying and treating any underlying causes can help you get the better sleep you deserve. Take medicine, Passiflora Q, 20 drops in half cup of water, 2 hours before her normal sleeping time If above things doesn't help you, then consult us for further treatment.

My elder brother is a 100% PH person. He is suffering from Urine Infection since 2006, now he is taking Fosfomycin Trometamol powder, suggested by a Dr. From chennai apollo hospital. Now he is suffering from loose motion after using this medicine, Dr. Suggested him to take this medicine for 3 months, already 1 month over and he is suffering from loose motion and weakness. Is it a side effect of the medicine/ is there any harmful activity of this effect. Please give me a suggestion.

With few vontenys of Alloparhic Dtugs,(evn anti biotics also),Patients will get loose motions,due the the intestines got effected or irritated due to those cobtents.Actually,that concern Doctor only hav to suggest or add up any regulatory or supporting medicines to avoid those complications.Few people will suffer from such kind of additional symptoms like these for some time,but later on gradually that will b subsided due to becoming adopted to those medicines. So,better to take the same Dr's advice...he may add some supportives like Lactobacillus etc.(which is helping Bacterial Fauna in Digestion)

It must be a kind of fungal infections, most common infections found in skin , they are little difficult to remove bcz they remain in the skin where blood supply is very little, so it will take time to remove. If you want to cure you have to follow few medicines for few weeks (it is contaminative disease ). please upload it’s photo.
