Hello, The food what and how you eat, makes the difference! For increasing your weight, concentrate on the below points ( if you don’t have any medical condition) which helps in gaining weight in a right way without harming your body. - Consume more healthy fats. Foods containing healthy fats are full of nutrients and also high in calories, making them a great option for weight gain. Foods containing plant fats should be your first option - this includes items such as nuts, seeds, peanut butter, avocados and olive oil. Foods containing healthy animals fats include lean meats and full fat dairy products - although if you have high cholesterol, you should probably stick to low-fat options. -Eat more protein. Good sources of protein include lean meat, fish and poultry, in addition to eggs, whole grains, dairy products and legumes. -Drink more calories. Try drinking a large glass of orange juice in the mornings (along with your normal breakfast). Drink a glass or two of full-cream milk throughout the day.Protein shakes will help you to gain muscle mass, particularly if you're working out. -Have 6 small and frequent meals in a day. -Gain muscle mass. It's a good idea to continue to exercise while you attempt to gain weight the healthy way. Strength training includes working with weights and performing exercises such as squats, deadlifts, bench presses, bicep curls, crunches, chin-ups and leg curls. Just keep in mind that the more you exercise, the more calories you will need to consume to replace those you lost while working out. This is where protein shakes and bars really come in handy. -Quit smoking. As it suppresses the appetite. -Stay healthy. The most important thing through the entire weight gain process is to stay healthy - eating a balanced diet and continuing to exercise throughout. -Take enough of rest and sleep for rejuvenation of the cells and tissues. -Think Positive which will help you in achieving your target of gaining weight. -Avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos., both thrice daily ½ an hour before meals for 1month.

Hello sir/mam I'm 21 years old. Earlier I used to have crct figure with 45 kgs. 5.2" As per the days are going on I'm becoming so thin n now my wait is 42. My face becoming so dull, my eyes getting inside generating under eye dark circles I'm looking so unhealthy. And loosing even stamina, lots of hair fall, feeling very short in height for myself. Hi - thanks for your question. For diabetic patients two things are important 1. Proper timely low calories diet 2. Activities, mild to moderate exercise to all. Some modifications can be there as per age, life styles, status of during pp, fasting of blood glucose. Over all low rice, rice products, no junk, fast, out side street foods, no spices, salt, of course no sugar. Do max walking, jogging even can do by dynamic activities. Gourd vegetables, low calorie fruits except banana, mangoes, dry fruits. No plain rice better brown rice & breads for blood circulation. Citrus fruits are better, milk double tonned, or chana, sour curd are good. No stress. Diet & exercises are all here. For medicine can contact your diabbetologst.

Do regular exercise. Take 2 glass water in the morning. Make a habit of consuming one well ripen banana with a cup of warm milk. Eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk overnight. Include protein rich food in your diet like soyabean, sattu with milk, eggs, sprouts, milk and milk products, combination of cereals and pulses take healthy and heavy breakfast. No drink before meals.

Hi 1. Eating 5 to 6 meals a day in order to gain weight, start eating 5-6 meals a day by breaking them into parts. Eating a lot at once may cause indigestion if the body fails to absorb all nutrients. Eat in small amounts, even if you are not hungry and there will be an increase in appetite from day to day. The aim should be to have a generously portioned breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as two to three snacks in between. 2. Start weight training if you build your muscles through weight training, it will convert the extra weight into lean body mass and also stimulate your appetite. The extra muscle increases the rate of metabolism. When you start exercising you will often experience extreme muscle soreness but it goes away in 3-5 days. 3. Load up on protein besides weight training, a protein-rich diet can help you gain mass. Eating a meal heavy in protein shortly after finishing exercise can be highly effective in adding extra pounds to your body. However, a diet focused only on lean protein is not helpful. It is important to make sure that your diet has plenty of fat in it. Eat foods rich in protein like cheese, meat, eggs, etc to gain weight in a healthy manner. 4. Workout your entire body a lot of people focus only on training the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Firstly, it will give you a disproportionate body; and it will make you prone to injuries. Therefore, it's important to work out the entire body for a complete and balanced look. 5. Drink your calories to reach the calorie requirement only by eating may be tough. Drinking milk, milkshakes or protein shakes with little or no sugar can be an effective way to load up on the calorie requirements. 6. Be patient and believe in yourself gaining weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Every body type is different and it takes months to gain weight. Living healthy by eating the right diet will increase your strength. It is also important to keep following the routine even if you don't see any gains. Caution: junk food and fried foods must be avoided; although have a tendency to add more fat to your body but are very low in vitamins and minerals which are essentially required to keep you really fit. Related tip: the most powerful way to put on weight - snacking right.

Bathe with gentle soaps. If possible use some natural ingredients like gramflour, turmeric mixed with some milk to bathe daily. This does not wash your skin off the natural oils. Keep your bath short and do not use hot water to bathe. Use only lukewarm water. Apply Vitamin E oil or warm olive oil on the body after bathing. You can also use a good moisturiser. Cocoa butter mixed with wheat germ oil is also very good at maintaining the skin health. You can mix some oils like – Sesame, olive, virgin coconut oil, wheat germ oil to apply before going to bed. Consume diet that is rich in vitamin E, omega 3 and 6 and other skin friendly vitamins like vitamin E and A. Eat almonds, walnuts, flaxseeds, sesame seeds to maintain skin health.

Hello, Kindly tell me what problem you have in your stomach like pain/ acidity/ burning/ gas I am giving you general health advices for proper digestion: 1. Take small frequent meal kindly take 5-6 small meal in whole day 2. Take 6-8 glass of water in a day 3. Moderate physical activity regularly 4. Avoid excessive tea, coffee 5. Do not postpone breakfast 6. Avoid food from outside, junk, fried, spicy fatty food 7. Since you have found diabetes on routine investigation it is advisable to go for completes check up like bsf/pp/cbc/hba1c/s creat/uric acid/tsh /urine r/sgot/sgpt excessive hunger, thirst and weight loss are signs of uncontrolled diabetes requires immediate treatment. You need low cal, low fat diabetes diet along with suitable medicine after consulting doctor.

You can examine your breasts in front of the mirror after removing restrictive clothing. Feel the painful portion between fingers and thumb of other hand by rolling the full breast thickness. If you feel any hard lump, pl meet your gynec. Compare with the other side for swelling, redness or shape. If you see anything abnormal, it will need checkup. Try wearing something loose for a day to see if it relieves the pain. Try hot compress.

First we hav to work on ur digestive system...Mix 1 teaspoon each of cinnamon, ginger and cumin powder with honey to make a paste. Take 1 teaspoon 3 times a day...Follow up after 1week...drink plenty of fluids..avoid constipation.

Hi Lybrate User, Muscle is gained through exercise and not food. Food/ protein can only support your muscle growth when you are doing intensive exercise. Proteins are best found in Eggs, Chicken, Fish for non veg. Other good sources, milk and all milk products, all dals, soya beans, kidney beans, mushrooms etc.

Hi gain weight you need to combine a balanced eating pattern with regular physical activity. You should be eating at least 6 small meals a day, rather than sticking to 3 square meals. You could divide it as 3 main meals and 3 snacks. You need to be eating every 2-3 hours. Space out snacks during the day so you don't spoil your appetite. Bread, cereal, rice, whole wheat, dalia and pasta: biscuits, and corn-bread are good sources of carbohydrates. Fruits: dried fruits, fruit nectars, and large quantities of fresh fruits vegetables: include, potatoes, peas, corn in your diet. Meat, poultry, fish, dry beans, eggs, and nuts: beef, pork, lamb, poultry, salmon, omelets, nuts, peanut butter, kidney beans, chickpeas will help you gain weight. Include dairy products like milk, yogurt, and cheese: milk, fruited yogurts, hard cheeses, ice cream, puddings, custards, milkshakes. -nuts and seeds make a healthy option for snacks. -roasted channas and peanuts are good -peanut butter on the sandwiches are a great mid-meal choice. -you must know that cereals actually contain some healthy calories. Stay hydrated: drinking plenty of water and other fluids like juices, milk, soups etc, will work in your favour.
