Dear you need to make sure that your diet & exercise are regular. Inspite of that if your sugars are not under control, then you need to add some other medications or if not then insulin. The dose of your current medications is maximum &will not help much further by increasing its dose. Please consult your doctor for the same.

Don’t worry. You can lose weight easily if you are patient and determined to shed those extra kilos. You just have to alter your daily routine, watch what you eat and be physically active. This requires you to be on your weight loss commitment for quiet long. As soon as you start seeing the results, you will be surprised as well as motivated to go beyond your weight loss and adopt and a lifelong healthy attitude. For a start please follow: 1. Watch what you eat – Are you eating too much junk, drink excessive alcohol and eating too much white food and sugar? Please cut it down to as low as you can from tomorrow. Cut down tea/coffee if you are too addicted to it. It is creating havoc inside your body. 2. Lifestyle – Are you a late sleeper and late riser? You can’t imagine what this schedule of yours is doing to your metabolism. It is degrading your digestive system from inside and your looks from outside. 3. Physically active – If you are a couch potato who loves to watch tv whole day then throw that couch of yours in the street and get yourself a treadmill tomorrow. Yes it is as simple as that. Hello, Evaluate your diet. Do strength training 3 times a week. Supplement milk with dried fruits or dates. Have atleast 3 servings of milk and its products every day. You need to eat high calories meals and, have milk based sweets or desserts. You should also have high calorie fruits like banana, Jack fruits, grapes. Rest is equally important.

1. Protein is the key for the muscle building. Without adequate protein, muscle gain and growth is not possible because weight training demands for amino acids (which comes from protein). You should daily eat about 2.2g of protein per kilogram of your weight. For example, if you are 50kg, then you should eat 50x2.2=111g of protein spread over 5-6 meals in the day. Include high protein foods in your diet. Your protein intake should be from foods rather than from supplements. Good protein foods: beans, soybeans, whey, fish, dairy products (low fat variety), meats, nuts and seeds (almonds, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds), peanut butter. Many of these are easy digestible foods. Milk is one of the best muscle foods. The milk contains two high quality proteins, about 80 percent whey and 20 percent casein. Whey is quickly broken down into amino acids and absorbed into the bloodstream. Whey is very good to consume after workout. Casein is digested more slowly and provides the body with a steady supply of protein for a longer period of time. Cheese is concentrated milk, so it is high in protein and calcium, fat and cholesterol. Include healthy skim yogurt in your diet, which can give you as much as 120 calories.----------- 2. Eat custard apple (saripa, sitaphal) to put on some weight. This fruit is high in calorie.------------- 3. Healthy fats: avoid fatty foods. Most mothers, especially in india give too much ghee or butter to their children, thinking they will put flesh fast. But ghee is mostly saturated fat which is not a healthy fat for any body. Healthy fats are monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats and omega-3 fatty acids. Good fats: cold pressed oils (olive, sunflower, linseed, canola).---------- 4. Drink pure fruit juice. Hey, for muscle growth you should mantain your diet mangement with exercise. 1- increase your calorie intake, but do not take fatty food, take healthy food like" fish, banana, milk, peanut, eggs" but you should not over- eat. 2- take good amount of protien because it is very helpful for muscle growth eat pulses, soyabean, rajma, eggs. 3- eat protien regulary like but take small quantity of food at small interval. 4- take large amount of water. 5- do specific exercise for peticular part of body like dips is very good exercise for triceps muscle. 6- work hard but not for longer time. 7- go for running at least 30-45 min. Hi lybrate user. I think there is something wrong in your report. The fasting sugar should be less and pp should be more. After all the sugar content of your blood is bound to go up after you have taken your meal. I suggest you check up with your lab again and clear this confusion or go in for a test again. Fasting sugar below 100 is ok. 100-126 is considered pre-diabetic and over 126 is considered a case of diabetes. Since there seems to be some confusion in your report please clear it and then you can consult through private questions.
