Dear weight increases only when u have more calories intake than amount of calories burnt. .U need to do work out daily. Take 1 glass of luke warm lemon water empty stomach in morning. .Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. . Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. . Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk yogurt, cream, chocolate, etc. .Replace refined flour with whole-wheat flour and rice with brown rice or parboiled rice. . Drink 15 glasses of water daily.

Mr. Lybrate-user, usually insulin injection is prescribed when blood glucose is not well controlled with oral drugs. So it is rather difficult to shift totally on to oral anti diabetic drugs. We may have to look at the total treatment, diet, exercise and fasting, pp glucose levels and hba1c%. Thanks.

Hi - you need high calorie diet. That means you have to add quality meals enriched by protein. Add more rice in meals added by butter or ghee, some times fried rice or polao you can. Vegetables soup or strew 2 times, maximim mix vegetables in meals, 2- pcs sweets. In a day. Add sprouts, pulses. Add puddings cream paneer, yogurts, curd as possible. 2 pca big size banana like in break fast & at 11 am. Sleep min 8-9 hours. No stress, more water, electrolytes, fruits juices, banana shake, more importantly add enough protein by milk (d. T or skim), chana, curd, lassi, butter milk also better.

If there is no burning or fever then less chances of uti. Drink more water. Sometimes it could be due to vitamin b complex suppliments.

your daughter is probably suffering from rickets.please be careful with her. give her calcium and vit D supplement.k keep her in sunlight everyday. injections can be given if oral supplements do not work. corrective shoes if required.please stay in touch with a paediatrician for the same.

Diabetes can be managed well if you follow a disciplined lifestyle which incorporates nutrition and exercise. You need to put in a lot more of your information regarding sugar levels, eating habits, medications and then one can proceed further. Some tips for you. In case of diabetes you have to eat nutrient dense food and exercise well. You need a diet which comprises of whole grains like jowar, bajra, wheat, brown rice, pulses like moong, musoor, bengal gram, lots of vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, chicken, paneer, healthy oil, nuts and seeds. You need to eat them in right proportion. Avoid eating sugar and sweets, refined foods like maida, noodles pasta, white rice and products, bread. Drink a lot of water. Exercise atleast 5 times a week. Do not overeat. Eat 3 proper meals and 2 snack in between. Stop when your stomach is 80% full. Eat slowly,

You have to persist with a low carbohydrate and low fat high protein diet. Stop all cereals, sugar, bakery products and desserts. Take the white of 4 boiled eggs and lots of fruits and green vegetables and salads. Go for an hour long walk every day. If you don't loose weight soon you will develop diabetes and high BP. You may need Bariatric Surgery to help you with sustained weight loss. Thanks for the query. There’s no overnight fix when it comes to healthy weight loss, but you can adjust your lifestyle to promote quick, natural weight loss for the benefit of your health and your appearance. Successful, long-term weight management needs to focus on more than the food you eat and the pounds you lose. It needs to focus on your overall health. Reshape your body and your lifestyle by adopting healthy habits and breaking unhealthy ones. Replace all processed foods in your diet with vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low-fat dairy, lean meats, eggs, legumes, nuts, seeds and seafood. Focus on the variety of whole, unprocessed foods you can eat instead of dwelling on the junk food you eliminated from your diet. Eat smaller portions at every meal and avoid going back for seconds. Take a smaller scoop of rice,  half of a piece of chicken instead of a whole piece and one less egg in your morning omelet, for example. Make time for breakfast every morning. Eating breakfast helps prevent overeating and is a habit of people who successfully lose weight. Pack to-go meals instead of eating convenience foods when you’re not home. Store foods like chopped fruits and vegetables or cooked grains, legumes, eggs and meats in your refrigerator so you always have something to grab when you’re in a rush. Buy fresh vegetables and fruits from the grocery store if you forget to bring healthful food from home. When you can’t avoid dining at a restaurant, opt for a salad as a starter, and always ask for the dressing on the side. Clear soups, lean meats, seafood and grain-based dishes like roti, whole grain bread are other good choices. Exercise for 30 to 60 minutes at least three times per week to build muscle and burn more calories. Pilates, strength training, aerobics, swimming, dancing and yoga or a sport like football are ideal choices. If you’re new to exercising, start with brisk walking and jogging. Adopt physically demanding hobbies like bicycling, hiking, jogging, power walking to promote faster weight loss. If you don’t have time for new hobbies, increase your physical activity with things like walking the dog, playing with the kids or jogging instead of driving to a nearby store or taking the stairs instead of the elevator.

You need to start eating high protein and good quality fat. Include lots of paneer, whole pulses, soya, dals, curds and milk. If you are non vegetarian include eggs, chicken and fish thrice in a week. Start exercising which helps you increase bmr and hunger.

First get his kidney levels checked,since high BP is an indication of underlying kidney problem.there are medications to control,besides look out for hidden salt in processed,bakery and ready made foods. Take adequate water and ample rest to bring down the BP naturally.
