Whenever there is iron deficiency in our body we tend to eat mud, chalk etc and there is digestion problems after eating all the things you mentioned and instead if we give them iron syrup directly than they stop eating unwanted stuff on their own.

Hi lybrate-user The real problem occurs when a person who is on weight loss regime, have to lose belly or abdominal fat. All the exercises, jogs, food, diet plans, etc work great on our body except on the belly. The stubborn belly fat is the hardest one to reduce and take months to get in shape. You need to follow different diet plans and exercises to reduce belly fat. And we have some tips for you on how to reduce belly fat. Say no to sugar Avoid sugary food and beverages if you want to cut down the abdominal or belly fat. They are extremely unhealthy and can badly affect the metabolic health. Sugar is half fructose and half glucose, fructose only be metabolized by liver, so wherever you eat refined sugar, it turns into fat due to increased level of fructose in liver. The large amount of fructose accumulates fat in the belly which can further lead to obesity, liver fat, metabolic problems and diabetes. No carbs Studies have shown that restricting carbs from the diet help in weight loss and show the effective results in few days. Cutting carbs lowers the appetite and help in weight reduction. A person should go for a low carb diets instead of only sticking to low fat diet. One need to follow and eat a healthy and balanced diet to achieve the weight loss goal. Just cut the refined carbs like pasta, white bread, etc. Exercise to reduce belly fat For a good health and perfect body exercise is must. To live long, healthy and better life, take out 20 minutes from your life to invest into exercise of any type. Aerobics exercise like walking, swimming, running, etc is the fun and effective way to lose belly fat. It also prevents regaining of belly fat and shape up your belly. This exercise also reduces blood sugar level, metabolic abnormalities and reduces inflammation. Protein diet Protein diet is must to eat to reduce belly fat, especially in breakfast. Having protein in the breakfast reduces craving and boost metabolism, which helps you to feel full for longer and reduces the appetite. Protein takes time to digest so having it in breakfast is the best option, it keeps you full and you will not binge eat in your next meal. It helps in reducing abdominal fat and also prevents regaining. Eat food rich in fiber Like proteins, fiber too is very effective way to reduce belly fat. It is easy to digest and keeps digestive system and tract in proper order which prevents fat accumulation and throws waste material out of the body. It helps in proper bowel movement which again prevents fat accumulation. Try to have viscous fiber like oats, it binds water and form a thick gel, which sits in the gut and slow down the movement of food, also slows the digestion process which result in feeling of fullness and reduced appetite. Track your food Apart from eating healthy, many people fail to reduce fat because they don’t have proper knowledge of what food they are eating. Healthy food is not sufficient, proper and balanced diet is must. They blindly go for high proteins, low fat and carbs but fail. Eating boiled veggies daily won’t help and you cannot live on it whole life. Your body needs all the nutrients in proper amount, so go for diet plans which fulfill all the requirements of the body.

How to increase weight and stay healthy If you are attempting to increase your weight, it is important to remember that simply eating anything at all will not help. Incorrect eating habits might not only affect your body functioning, but could also have other undesired effects on you. This is why it is important to eat correctly, while keeping track of your daily activities. Listed below are some simple and effective tips to gain weight. Put together a schedule Like most other things, it is essential to put together a detailed and achievable schedule that will help you gain the numbers you want. As the month of ramazan begins muslims will indulge in fasting from sunrise to sunset for a month. Here are some health tips that will help during this month.

Before sunrise-

1. Please make sure you have sufficient food to help you atleast in the early hours of fast. Make sure you dont eat too oily or spicy food as this may cause heartburn and acidity later in the day.

2. Make sure you drink lots of water. Atleast 1 liter of water will help you during the day

3. If you area diabetic you can take your medications before food in the morning. However you should look out for hypoglycemia if you dont have enough food.

4. Hypoglycemia or low sugar can occur in diabetics. Hence it is advisable to look out for sweating, shivering, giddiness, loss of conciousness. If any of these occur you must take some sugar immediately otherwise low sugar can lead to loss of conciousness, coma and even death.

5. Diabetics with poor sugar control and people on insulin should be extremely cautious about the risk of low sugar and high sugar. Please ensure you check your blood sugar atleast twice a day or when you develop symptoms of hypoglycemia.

6. The key to diabetics fasting is that you should eat enough in the morning to help you through the day but in small quantities enough to control your sugar levels.

7. Taking a short walk is good after morning food.

After sunset-

1. Please dont indulge in breaking the fast by taking high calorie food such as soft drinks, fried items and excessive sweets.

2. Eat in instalments of 1-2hour gaps as sudden consumption of snacks and dinner in a short span will overload your blood with glucose.

3. A walk after iftar is good for digestion and metabolism.

4. Eat food atleast 2 hours before going to sleep.

5. The tendency to overeat is high after fasting. You can avoid this by taking lots of salads and fruits.

6. If you are a diabetic you must make sure that after breaking your fast you can take your medications 30 minutes before dinner.

your blood glucose levels are well under control ..kudos for that...yes these medicines are appropriate for u if these sugar levels are on this treatment..if these medicines are just prescribed now..then these are a bit heavy ones and not required as of now...keep a check on b.sugar regularly to avoid hypoglycemia..let me know your past treatment status

Please take your mother to a Proper Diabetologist or Physician and take Proper Allopathic Medicines. Please don't do all these experiments with other forms of medicines. These days there are lots of different medicines which claim to reduce Diabetes, but there is no scientific evidence to prove thisthis. Also if you want proper advice please mention Fasting - PP Sugar levels and HbA1c test levels when you ask questions. Diabetes can be controlled/managed by a proper regulated diet. 3. Avoid all forms of simple sugars like Colas, juices, sweets, biscuits, cakes etc. 5. Eat every two hours small meals/snacks. Take more green vegetables/salads. 6. Eat lot of proteins like dals, sprouts, egg, chicken etc. 7. Take chapatis made of multigrain atta. 8. Drink lot of water. 9. Take these herbs which are known to improve sugar levels - tulsi, cinnamon, karela, flax seeds. 10. Do at least 30 mins of walk everyday.

Dear lybrateuser, - Yes, any person who undergoes chronic stress & anxiety is prone to heart disease & a heart attack - also an unhealthy diet with more of fried, fatty, processed, junk food with sedentary habits is prone to heart attack, also drinking excess alcohol & tobacco contribute in a major way - have more of fruits & vegetables, less of fats & processed foods & do regular exercise , sleep well for 7-8 hrs in the night to keep your heart healthy.

your diet should be rich in proteins and carbohydrates i.e dairy products,non-veg,fruits(banana,dates,mango,anzeer.)go for gym for 1 hour everyday. after follw this diet if your weight remain same. it means there is some hormonal imbalance you have to go for some medical test i.e thyroid profile.

Only rich source of vit d is sun, expose whole body between 10 am to 2 pm. Most can not do this, so better to take supplements.

I have dandruff. I used many shampoos but still not working. I wash my hair with cold water even in winters still I haven't find any solution. Please help.

Hi. I don't know what shampoos have you used previously. I would recommend you to use ketoconazole shampoo for dandruff. But make sure you keep it for 10mins and then only you wash off.

If your are suffering from type II diabetes then strictly avoid whole milk or pure ghee.Actually in any type of diabetes its better to avoid whole milk products.Diabetic patients have high tendency to have high cholesterol.

You need to improve on your immunity. Eat nutrient dense food and good amount of proteins to increase your immunity. To maintain a low body fat and/or lower body fat: 1. Walk at least 5 times per week 2. Eat whole/unprocessed foods at regular intervals, while being aware of physical hunger/fullness cues 3. Sleep 7-9 hours per night 4. Don’t engage in extreme diets 5. Stay consistent with your habits 6. Incorporate non-exercise physical activity 7. Ignore food advertising You need a diet which comprises of whole grains like jowar, bajra, wheat, brown rice, pulses like moong, musoor, bengal gram, lots of vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, chicken, paneer, healthy oil, nuts and seeds. You need to eat them in right proportion. Avoid eating sugar and sweets, refined foods like maida, noodles pasta, White rice and products, bread. Drink a lot of water.
