Is there any chance of pregnancy due to unprotected intercourse done within 10 days before period days?

MD Hom., Certificate in Food and Nutrition, BHMS, Diploma In Yoga, PGDM
Homeopath, Indore
Is there any chance of pregnancy due to unprotected intercourse done within 10 days before period days?
Yes, depending on when you ovulate, you can get pregnant 10 days before the next period is due. Ovulation occurs about two weeks before period and it can shift few days after that. Factors like stress, illness, and drugs or even change in diet can affect ovulation The egg is viable only 12 to 24 hours, but sperm stick around. When your vaginal secretions resemble egg white, clear and “stretchy,” that means it’s ovulation time. The rest of the month the secretion isn’t as clear or of the same consistency. SO if you have your cycles irregular, even one or 2 days difference, then there is a chance of pregnancy due to unprotected intercourse within 10 days before period.
