To keep all dental problems at bay, start brushing your teeth twice a day.

I was having a tooth that became partly broken and also loose. Tonight at dinner part of the tooth has come out part is remaining with the gum. But there was no bleeding. My platelet count is low. What to do now. Should I get the remaining part of the tooth extracted or leave it as it is. I am scared for extraction since bleeding may not stop. What is the minimum platelet level when the tooth can be extracted.

After examination and certain tests the dentist concern will decide for extraction or save the tooth, for saving you will have to undergo a lenghty treatment, Root canal, core pin development and then the crown. Whatever is suitable get yourself treated.

Hi , I am 21 year old , my jaw is not open perfectly, I chewing tobacco, so please tell me treatment.
Quit habits strictly. Seems like you have oral submucous fibrosis (osmf). Kindly consult an oral & maxillo facial surgeon in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need conservative or surgical management for mouth opening depending upon the stage of osmf. Advise full mouth opening, ballooning exercise & side to side movement of the jaw. Wrap 25 to 30 ice-cream sticks, make a bundle, put it between upper & lower front teeth for 15 minutes thrice a day increase 1 sticks each day.

When A Tooth Brush Can Be Changed?

When A Tooth Brush Can Be Changed?
  • A tooth brush can be safely used until it's fibers become hard and brush fibers spreading. When brush fibers becomes hard and start spreading we should change our tooth brush. Continuous use of a harden and spreading tooth brush cause more abrasion of tooth and puncture of gums and bleeding of gums. At long time use of this can cause gingival recision and thermal sensation of teeth.
  •  A brush can be safely used approx 20 to 30 days.

What's the probability of developing a dry socket after a dental extraction. I understand precautions need to be taken, but how soon can I start smoking again?

What's the probability of developing a dry socket after a dental extraction. I understand precautions need to be take...
Dear, if you dont maintain your oral hygiene and dont follow the instructions given by the dentist you are more prone for delayed healing or dry socket. Regarding smoking, you can start once the extraction socket heals completely or probably after 3 or 4 days of extraction.
