Panic Attack Not a Heart Attack!

A panic attack is a sudden surge of overwhelming anxiety and fear. Your heart pounds and you can’t breathe. You may even feel like you’re dying or going crazy. Left untreated, panic attacks can lead to panic disorder and other problems. They may even cause you to withdraw from normal activities. But panic attacks can be cured and the sooner you seek help, the better. With treatment, you can reduce or eliminate the symptoms of panic and regain control of your life.

Signs and symptoms of a panic attack-

Panic attacks often strike when you’re away from home, but they can happen anywhere and at any time. You may have one while you’re in a store shopping, walking down the street, driving in your car, or sitting on the couch at home.

The signs and symptoms of a panic attack develop abruptly and usually reach their peak within 10 minutes. Most panic attacks end within 20 to 30 minutes, and they rarely last more than an hour.

A full-blown panic attack includes a combination of the following signs and symptoms:

 Shortness of breath or hyperventilation

 Heart palpitations or racing heart

 Chest pain or discomfort

 Trembling or shaking

 Choking feeling

Feeling unreal or detached from your surroundings

 Sweating

 Nausea or upset stomach

 Feeling dizzy, light-headed, or faint

 Numbness or tingling sensations

 Hot or cold flashes

Fear of dying, losing control, or going crazy

Thank you!

Hello, Brisk walking provides good power and endurance to the heart, which help in increasing blood circulation and thus increase the oxygen carrying capacity of the heart. However ,it is not advisable to follow this regime if a person had some troubles with the heart. Otherwise it is very safe and result oriented.

How can I reduce my high blood pressure by controlling my daily diet or what is the easiest way to reduce blood pressure.

How can I reduce my high blood pressure by controlling my daily diet or what is the easiest way to reduce blood press...
Hello, Few lifestyle changes can help you in controlling and preventing the high blood pressure, even if you're taking blood pressure medication. Eat healthy foods. Consume more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, poultry, fish and low-fat dairy foods. Eat less saturated fat and trans fat. Decrease the salt in your diet. So, avoid eating processed foods, such as canned soups or frozen dinners which contains extra salt in it. Keeping a healthy weight, or losing weight if you're overweight or obese, can help you control your high blood pressure and lower your risk of related health problems. Increase physical activity which can help lowering your blood pressure, manage stress, reduce your risk of several health problems. Get indulged in regular exercising (if your doctor allows you). Limit alcohol. Even if you're healthy, alcohol can raise your blood pressure. If you choose to drink alcohol, do so in moderation. Don't smoke. Tobacco injures blood vessel walls and speeds up the process of hardening of the arteries. Reduce stress as much as possible. Practice healthy coping techniques, such as muscle relaxation, deep breathing or meditation. Getting regular physical activity and plenty of sleep can help, too. Monitor your blood pressure at home. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Essentia Aurea/ thrice daily which is a cardio-tonic which helps in maintaining blood pressure, improves muscle tone of the heart and narrowing of blood vessels.

Due to old age you r also suffering from blood pressure; our herbs also helps to keep your vessels clean to avoid blockage in vessels through which you will stay away from paralysis or heart attack; so you may go for our herbs. Varicose veins cannot be treated effectively by any pathy so don't try to treat them as it may harm your body. Just do pranayam n few yogasanas if possible; consult with me for more details.

Mr. Lybrate-user usually ideal bp should be maintained around 120 - 130 systolic and 70 to 80 mm hg of diastolic. Higher than recommended diastolic pressure is no good, does not allow proper relaxation of the heart. As regards triglycerides, which are in control with 128 mg, still it is better to continue the treatment. Also it is essential to exercise regularly, which help in maintaining lipids in normal range. Thanks.
