Dear Lybrate user every child has his or her own learning style and capacity. If your child is sitting for 2 hrs at a stretch which is quite good. Please try understand that brain needs break too while studying. After a point you put in how much amount of efforts it will not lead to learning. So please make a time table for your child. Time table should contain some break and relaxing time for your child. Another important thing is try to get the eye check up done for your child. Continuous strain on eyes can lead to headaches. If things doesn't change try seeing a child psychologist on one on one basis. Take Care.

Although I have a caring wife and a small kid I feel as if I don't fit with groups like I did before. I used to be the centre of fun.

Dear lybrate user. I can understand. Age and experience makes people wise. Wise people easily starts understanding other people and prefer to be away from people who do not fit their crieteria. In your case too, you are being wise. Don't worry. But you should try to get friends. Meet two ir three new people daily and try to talk to them every week. You may get one or two same wavelength people out of 100 or so such friends. You can make them intimate friends. You must try, for sure. Otherwise just enjoy life without friends, there are many people who do that. Take care.

I mean ice pack application. C stands for compressions and E stands for elevation of painful part.
For pain relief take only paracetamol sos.
Even single tab of pain killer can damage kidneys.
Alcoholic should avoid pain killer.
In case APD,even single tab of pain can cause gastric bleeding.
Better use local ointment for pain relief.

You talk about this condition rather casually. It is very, very serious and the earlier it is resolved the better. Because you are young the prognosis is good. Apart from that this the last time you will get to sort it out in your teens. If done well now, you could save a lot of time, money, and pain. Meet with a doctor immediately. Comply with all the medical prescriptions and work in tandem with a counselor for a long time and learn coping skills and techniques to handle the daily challenges you will face. There are certain adaptations that will suit you during the elation phase and there are certain behaviors that are required during the depressed phases. In the meantime you can do certain things that will give you benefits anyway. Emotional therapy will alleviate a lot of the problems faced in this condition because it is a mood disorder. You need to particularly look at your levels of anger both for its reasonableness and to express it in appropriate manner. I suspect that much of this anger may have origins in early childhood that you may never be aware of it now. Talk to your parents and explore that angle. This information will help the counselor too. Also you will need to check whether there is any genetic factor involved. You must exercise regularly, eat healthily and sleep normally too. If your motivation and cooperation is good much can be achieved. You must have a time-structured schedule filled with interesting and reasonable activities and it must be monitored for compliance and delivery. The reason I say this is that many times you will be inclined to have grandiose notions and confidently believe that you can do without the medication. This will set you back many months in the treatment and delay and sabotage the recovery: forewarned you are forearmed. If this combination of medication with therapy is maintained for at least three years without any episodes or breakdowns, it is possible to taper the medication in consonance with the doctor.

If you don't smoke or drink, then you are not exercising much. You are also on the heavier side for your height. You must also check if your bp is also normal and see if you have sugar problems too. If you have panic and anxiety they are also good enough reasons to cause all your sexual problems. Nearly 99% of sexual problems are psychological in nature. You must be cooperative for any system of intervention to work for you, more so if the cause is psychological. I advise you to meet with a sexologist and learn how your anxiety is only increasing your problems. That person will also teach you certain measures to be taken and exercised to allow a free mind in sexual matters. The brain is the most important sexual organ: anything that disturbs it will directly impact your libido and performance. In fact, most of the physical excitement is dependent upon how the brain is stimulated and aroused. That is what is involved in porn and ads where female bodies are used in sexually titillating ways to arouse your attention and goad the sexual drive or buying impulse, respectively. You must explore what inhibitions or anxious thoughts prevent sexual arousal, and address those feelings to completely free yourself from their negative influences. The sexologist is your best bet. If you get over-excited you will have an early ejaculation too. You must restrain yourself from getting too excited and hold back the physical pleasure too to some extent to extend the ejaculate. When you finish your first round of intercourse, you could, after a delay of 20 minutes, go for another round which will be a lot more delayed. You are definitely under some stress and it si probably related to your work. It may settle on its own over time. But not getting enough sleep is bad medicine. So I suggest you do some of the following even if you have tried some of them: The lack of sleep, i.e. Sleep for less than 6 hours per night, is directly linked to about 86 diseases! So let us first focus on that. In your case particularly, do not sleep during the day; don’t even lie down. Go for regular exercise (breathing through your nostrils only) at a fixed time (at about 6 am) every day, whether you sleep or not. You must develop this habit of sleeping by 10 pm latest every night and wake up at a uniform time by 6 am every morning, even if you do not get sleep. If you do not get sleep, just lie down and if you have a bed lamp (or you could get one) lie down and read something light but not exciting. Your eyes will tire and you will fall asleep. If you like you may also put on light and soft music with the sleep function on. Depending on whether you are a visual or auditory person, you may watch TV in a lying down position until you feel sleepy. Have a warm bath before going to bed (for some people a cold bath at night seems to induce sleep! If you are one of them, please do so). Place the head side of your bed in a North-South position. The room must be as dark as possible and there should be no electronic items that give off even a light LED glow. There must be ample ventilation in the room. Avoid strong odors, except lavender, on your body or in the room, or on your sheets and clothes. There should not be any live plants in your bedroom. Sleep with the lightest of clothes or without any clothing. When lying down to sleep, lie down on your left ear as much as possible. Do not sleep directly under an overhead fan. You must eat a good breakfast, a fairly light lunch, and an early dinner, which should be a very light meal. Whatever you eat in the other meals, have only a pure carbohydrate meal at night with any vegetables, and preferably before 8 pm. Do not drink much liquids after or near about dinner time. When lying down to sleep you may use the 4-7-8 breathing pattern of sleep inducement i.e. Breathe in for four counts through your nostril only, hold for 7 counts, and exhale with a whoosh sound, through your mouth only, for 8 counts. Repeat this four times in the morning and just before you sleep at night. If you know Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT (check this out either on YouTube or Google), then please practice this too for sleep induction. Self-hypnosis and slow relaxation techniques, at night will be tremendously useful. Acupuncture or acupressure will both be very useful too. Pray last thing at night before you sleep.

Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicines 1. Carbo veg 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week. 2. Robinia q (5 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week and update. Keep a gap of 15 - 20 minutes in both the medicines. Drink lot of water. Include fruits, raw vegetables and fresh vegetable juices in your diet. Avoid fried and spicy food. Tea/coffee should not be taken in excess. Meals should be taken regularly and on time. If overweight, loose weight. Avoid stress and it should be avoided by doing yoga and exercise.
