We are newly married. About 3 month ago. My husband promised me take me to honeymoon. But yet he always making reason because of which we are fighting. Hi Lybrate user That's very good! you want to wake up early in the morning. Following are some tips for you :- 1- Allow yourself to sleep earlier :- Try to go to bed earlier, even if you don't think you will sleep and read while in bed, if you really tired you just might fall asleep much sooner than you think. 2- Set a good reason :- Set something to do early in the morning that's important for you, this reason will motivate you to get up early. 3-Make waking up early a reward :- Find something that's pleasurable for you and allow yourself to do as a reward for yourself. 4- Don't make drastic change :- Start slowly by waking 15-30 minutes earlier than usual. Get used to this for a few days, then cut back another 15 minutes do this gradually until you get to your goal. 5- Put your alarm clock far from your bed :- if it is right next to your bed, you will shut it off, but if it is far from your bed you have to get up out of bed to shut it off. And when you are wake up go out to the bedroom as soon as you shut off the alarm. All The Best.

First of all make sure your hypothyroidism is fully investigated by your Dr. which is seldom done by drs all over the world. Have they done all the 6 tests like TSH, Free T 4, free T3, reverse T3 and TPO and TG antibodies then only can your thyroid issue can be fixed .Thyroid disease is also related to anxiety .For finding out the trigger factor a detailed medical, dietary history and certain blood work needs to be done. Take a consult if you want specific advise.

I am at the youth age of 26 years. But I am addicted to the tobacco smoking and drinking alcohol. I tried several times to get rid of these. But I failed to leave. How can I be able to get rid of these intoxicating agents?

The combination of alcohol and smoking is deadly for your health. I am so glad that you are seeking to get rid of these habits and that will play a major role in your recovery. You must stop them both, abruptly and immediately. If you think that you will find it very difficult, then admit yourself to a hospital and go for de-addiction: which normally lasts for about two weeks. Then follow that up with addiction counseling from a professional for at least three years to completely get rid of these habits. If this is also not enough, then admit yourself into a de-addiction center and stay there for at least 6 months and after that attend counseling with a professional. There are medicines that help with the smoking and drinking just to ease the initial craving. Ultimately, it is your will power and the support that you receive from the medical fraternity and your close and dear ones. You must also learn to substitute and deal with the oral need, a rigid value system, the script issue, and of course look at all the genetic factors to plan a strategy not to get into what is called ‘cross addictions’ i.e. another form of addiction that may appear alright but is in fact as bad as your primary addiction. The center or hospital and the counselor will advise and guide you on several measures and precautions you will need to take to stay with your resolve. I congratulate you on this fabulous decision that will benefit you firstly, and your entire family. You are taking action that will have major bearing on many lives.

Combat with your anxiety issues.

Consider these suggestions.

- When we are anxious our thoughts race, our hearts pounds, our breathing accelerates. So at the first sign of it see what all you can do to intentionally slow things down. 

- Anxiety lives in our minds and often manifests in the body that's why you are feeling dryness of your mouth, fast heart beats, racing thoughts etc. So take a few moments to connect with your five senses, it will help bring you back into the moment.
 
- Be mindful while doing simple tasks, like walking, eating, reading, cooking etc. Being mindful helps remind us we are in control of our choices.
 
- Be aware of your thought process. When you have a negative thought, ask yourself" is this thought true? chances are your worst fears are not the reality of what's happening.

- Be aware of your triggers. If you know your triggers, you can prepare soothing practices better. When the mind feels prepared, it's more at ease.

You should get assessed with a psychiatrist.Sleep will improve once depression is treated. For fat problem, start exercising regularly & control your diet.

Hi Anxiety disorders are usually quite troublesome for the patient as well as for family members as it is impossible for them to make the patient understand the reality. Its almost impossible for anyone to make the patient relax. Patient continuously thinks and speaks about only those things which are in her mind. Patients suffering from Anxiety Disorders are not ready to take medicine easily as they think its not a medicinal problem and medicines will harm me further with their side effects. It seems more so in case of your mom. As far as ayurvedic treatment is concerned I cannot throw much light on that being not an expert on the field; but, I will suggest homoeopathic treatment for your mom because our medicines are quite effective in these kind of cases. Moreover homoeopathic medicines are very easy to take and are free of any kind of side effects. BUT, its very important that her case needs to dealt with sensitivity as she might not trust any physician. Love relationships that break up do this to people. He will get over it soon enough if you keep him occupied and if you let him talk about his feelings. It not likely that that girl left him for no reason. It may appear so or he may say so but every action has a reaction and vice-versa. Even if he wants to talk ill of her but to you only, let him do so. That will help him give vent to his emotions and make him feel better. If the break up is final, then he must dispose of all reminders of her and avoid the people, places, situations and occasions to get her out of his system. This is a gradual process but if you are there by his side he can do it faster and better. Do not let him talk badly about her to the public and you can ensure that he only expresses his feelings in private and moves on in life. Help him to socialize, attend functions and programs that will be a good distraction for him. If he finds it too difficult then let him meet with a counselor and deal with the pain. Eventually, he needs to have learned a lesson so that he does not repeat the same in his next relationship, which is something he should not get into in a hurry. You can use some guidelines from this information to help out of his depression: In the meantime please do the following sincerely because you could resolve the problem better with good cooperation: Have a good night’s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber, nuts, avocado, exercise regularly, eat dark chocolate, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. I suggest you do the opposite of what this depression makes you feel like doing (actually, not doing): you will need to fight this condition. You must become active; stay upright during the daylight time; meet people; never sleep during the day, wake up by 6 am every day, play some active games, especially contact games, do physical exercises, talk to people and join some social clubs, attend Yoga classes etc. Watch sitcoms on TV or comedies and cheer yourself up. Go for excursions in groups, for outings, camps, conferences, and religious conventions. Get a pet dog and spend time training it, exercising it and relating to it. Expose yourself to some sunlight every day, at least, 30 minutes but not in the scorching heat. Whatever happens, please incorporate these three important adaptations in your life: always be responsible, be respectful, and be functional. If you did these three, lots of things will go well in life. Please pray and have faith in God to alleviate your sufferings. Don’t wait for others to help. Use your own motivation, which might be at its lowest, but persevere and win this battle. Above all to be really happy, you need to live in love and for love. Learn all about emotions and how to handle them and that will get you out of the depression rather easily and quickly. A counselor is there only to facilitate you, all the hard word must come from you, and your cooperation with that person is very critical for your success. Be positive every day and learn to be contented with what you have. Do some left brain exercises: it is the happy brain. Here are a few suggestions: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. Whatever happens please cooperate with the therapy and do not discontinue until the condition is completely resolved.

My memory power is too weak so how I can increase my memory power please tell me.

It may not be weak but some distractions may be the reason. You may be under some stress, and I do not know if you are aware of it. Find out what this disturbance is all about and as you address it, memory and concentration will happily return to favor you. Do meet with a counselor, if your stress is too much. In the meantime please follow the suggested guidelines: Daily exercise of at least half an hour is a must. Even if you go to a gym, ask for aerobic and/or calisthenics exercises with whatever else you are doing. A healthy body harbors a healthy mind. With regard to memory, it is very important that your brain and body is ideally rested to be able to recall whatever is required, rather comfortably. Puzzles pose problems to the brain that help it to use new pathways and neurons, which give the brain considerable exercise. It taxes the left brain to use logic to solve the myriad possibilities which other activities do not stimulate. Crosswords are excellent for vocabulary learning and use. Jigsaws and Rubik cube stimulate different permutations to finally settle on the most likely one. Picture completion and anagrams help approach problem solving from several angles. Do Sudoku, and memory co-relation activities and skills. Have a good night?s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber (whole grains, fruits and vegetables), nuts, avocado, eat dark chocolate, consume less of fat and use olive oil or coconut oil instead, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. You need to check out if you are stronger visual or auditory. The visual is a better mode than the auditory. However, if you combine the two modes, you will get the best concentration. Short-term memory is a faculty of the left brain, and long-term memory is a feature of the right brain. But you must have short term memory to convert it into long-term memory. So the emphasis must be in activating good short term memory, ideally and always. When people are stressed, they tend to favor the right brain and abandon the left brain, where short-term memory resides. So, it is really very simple: deal with the stress and activate left brain functions. Here are a few suggestions to activate left brain function: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. If your home life is full of distractions and stress, it is likely to affect your memory, adversely. In that case, I suggest that you and the family go for counseling too.

Hello lybrate-user, you need to understand what is causing your partner worry. Why is he fighting with you. Once when you understand the reason, try to calm him down by expressing your viewpoint and by showin care and sympathy toward him. Also, encourage him to focus over his work/studies and to do well at that. Avoiding such conversations will not solve your problems, you will have to confront these problems and assure your partner. Good luck.
